Quinta Lusco-Fusco is a rural farm, located in an area of 27ha of cork oak forest. We seek self-sufficiency through a domestic economy of organic family farming. We offer direct and genuine contact with nature, vegetable garden, farm animals and local traditions in the neighbourhood.
This farm has animals, and an organic vegetable garden. It is also just a short distance from Lisbon (30 minutes). The ‘city of light’ offers culture, quirk and great value for money, as well as a gorgeous Mediterranean climate – a definite must-visit when you’re in the South-West of Portugal.
Our campspaces welcomes motorcyclists, campervans and tents.

We booked a night at Quinta Lusco-Fusco and we regretted to haven’t booked more, this place is a an earthly paradise!!!
There’s an open kitchen near the ducks’spot which is lovely and too cute and next to it you’ll find a toilet and a shower, i guess the cleanest bathroom we have used during our trip, water is cold but in summer-autumn that’s not a big deal.
Jorge’s animals are so cute, especially his dogs and cats which stayed with us during the evening.
How was the contact with the host?
Perfect, he answered all my questions!
Tips for new guests?
Before buying salt and oil ask Jorge to check in the kitchen, because he told us to buy them because he doesn’t offer this service but when we arrived we found salt and sugar from someone who had been there before us.
Don’t book just for the night, take at least 12h to appreciate this wonderful place!

A wonderful place to relax after a day in Lisbon!
It was very nice to camp among the lovely animals. The common area offers a lot of convenience and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped and the space offers a relaxed atmosphere.
The sanitary facilities were also good, with a nice shower.
We even got to do our laundry!

Our road trip from Lisbon via southern Portugal, southern Spain and southern France to Texel started here. Can't think of a better start. After 3 days and nights it feels like we are leaving Paradise today. Everything here is done with the same amount of love and attention. Whether it is taking care of the many animals, trees and plants or cleaning.
How was the contact with the host?
What a nice beautiful and soft look Jorge has. He looks at life with a lot of peace, zest for life and pleasure. Everything at ease. He does everything just as carefully, but apparently as if it takes no effort at all. He makes - simply by being there - that you feel extra welcome and at ease.
Tips for new guests?
Look, discover, explore and marvel. Here I discovered that watching animals is at least as much fun as watching people. Njoy!

I left Lisbon with my son and my dog to spend a few days at Quinta Lusco Fusco. It was a very pleasant experience. In addition to having a huge area of cork oaks, it has a very beautiful resting area and kitchen where you can spend wonderful afternoons contemplating, reading or interacting with the farm animals. Kitchen area and bathrooms always very clean and practical. Bolota and Caju were great hosts, Jorge was always attentive and zealous for our well-being and every corner of his garden reveals the sensitive and relaxed person that he is.
How was the contact with the host?
Jorge always responded with heplful messages.

Quinta Lusco-Fusco is a charming organic farm. There are many animals here, but there is not the slightest unpleasant smell, and I am amazed at how this is done. There is no doubt that Jorge has put a lot of effort into this farm. All the animals are very friendly and my dog enjoyed his time on the farm.
Our tent was set up under the trees and was very comfortable and cool.
The bathroom was very clean and the kitchen area was spacious and tidy and well equipped with kitchenware and cutlery.
We had a memorable weekend and highly recommend it!

What a paradise! Jorge was a very cordial host. While he fed the donkeys, chickens, turkeys, ducks, dogs, cats and goats, he told everything about his self-sufficient life. His farm is based on permaculture. He likes to talk about this. During your stay you can pick vegetables, fruit and herbs. There is a basic outdoor adventure shower. The water is cold but you have a view of the donkeys grazing. There is a compost toilet. This sounds more exciting than it is as it was very very clean and easy to use. There is room for many campers. But de Jorge doesn't want to occupy more than three spots. He wants to give the campers the feeling that they are staying overnight in the middle of nowhere. This is the charm of this farm. There is also a patio where you can use an outdoor kitchen and hammock. We will definitely come back!
And another big plus! You are half an hour from Lisbon. So after your city trip you can relax here again. Delicious!
