About this campspace #s004132

Little paradise close to frogs and wild medicinal flowers! A land not far from shops and really close of Durbuy but very quiet and peacefull with not a lot of people around! We don't take more than 2 campspots (away from each other) at the same time to ensure privacy and tranquility. Great spot to relax and reconnect with nature! We have also minimum facilities for you (solar shower, electrical spot to charge phone etc and composting toilet). There is a cycle road ("Ravel") just in front of the gate, so you can go for nice tour around directly in the forest.
We've got also bikes (vtt) if you need.

Hello! My brother and I, Seb and Val, are into musical, audiovisual and education activities. We also are passionate by wild medicinal plants and very interested about permaculture, self production, low energy and alternative projects. We love to meet new people and share our little original paradise 😊

It was very nice. We were in the caravan in a nice spot with lots of privacy. Lots of noise from frogs but we were prepared for that. Beautiful sunset from the camping spot. A good bakery at 700 m walking distance and the Ourthe + a beautiful forest within walking distance. Beautiful holiday

How was the contact with the host?
They were very nice people and we got a tour. They are very helpful and can possibly tell you something about the area.

Tips for new guests?
To be sure, do a mosquito check in the caravan before going to sleep.

We had very little contact with the host. At arrival the gate was closed and the host didn’t answer when called. We decided to climb the gate and there we found someone who showed us around and where to put the tent. The place was very beautiful, there was a pretty pond with many frogs, and a lot of pretty flowers and grass everywhere.

The contact with the host(s) was very positive and clear. They were very friendly and welcoming, and Valérie gave us a little tour around her garden full of medicinal flowers, which was very interesting. Our camping spot was surrounded by tall grass and pretty lavender flowers, and our tent was located under a tree so we had enough shade (thank god, it was 32 degrees!). I really liked the whole vibe of the location and the work they put into it: the little art projects, colourful lights at the entrance, hammocks to relax, a solar shower and a bio toilet. The hosts clearly care about sustainability and art, which are two things I value a lot myself. This quiet and friendly place was exactly what I was looking for and I had a lovely time. I will certainly go back some day!

Valérie is a very friendly and pleasant host. She was always ready to give tips about walks in the neighborhood, etc. The garden with wildflowers and the accommodations were fine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get away from home.

Valerie was a very pleasant and friendly host and also shows interest in the activities you want to do and helps you with that. Camping is very quiet and radiates nature in itself.

A little caravan for 4 person maximum (2 double bed), with a place to cook and a little bathroom (shower + toilet). Very cosy and quiet just in front of a pond. You just have to bring your sheets and cover for the bed ( 2 cushions already there).
