Camping in this domain is very nice. We got a cool place under the trees by the lake. No neighbors within 50 meters, so very quiet in that regard. We really enjoyed that. The road next to the campsite was regularly busy, especially early in the morning. The shower is in need of updating.

Very pleasant. Hendrik came a few times to inquire if everything was okay. Furthermore, he lets the guests and respects privacy.

My brother and I had a great time! Unfortunately, camping turned out to be nothing for him. Hendrik's estate is very beautiful and thanks to the trees and the distance between the guests a lot of privacy.

We really enjoyed the quiet, cool place in the woods and on the water. Seen a lot of fauna, especially feathered ones: robin, blackbird, chiffchaf, hawk, kingfisher, heron... Normally we rarely stay near our camper, now we really couldn't get away from it. We will definitely be back!

My stay at Hendrik's Campspace was refreshing and unique. On his Campspace there is plenty of options to park your camper or set-up your tent, I decided to stay next to the water in the forest! I enjoyed watching the active wildlife and I also made a fire during the night. Absolutely amazing Campspace and I would highly recommend visiting it if you are in the area!

We had a great time. It is a pleasant location where you can relax. Observing the movements of birds on the water, the possibilities to make your own fire, the privacy you have compared to other park residents. Blessed!

We had an absolutely great time! Communication, check-in and check-out were super easy, and Hednrik was always there to help. The forest and lake are absolutely magnificent! Most importantly we had a lot of space for our group, and it felt almost like we had a forest for ourselves (nothing like a regular camping where tents are very close to each other!). Facilities were basic, but sufficient for a couple nights stay. Thanks a lot for hosting us Hendrik and see you next time!

We spent an afternoon and a night at the edge of the small lake, in our Combi, with my daughter and our little dog.
We are like in a small forest, it is quite humid but in summer when the vegetation grows it must be another experience to do.
The site is not far from the road so a little noise with cars.

Hendrik was very available and welcoming, he provided us with the brazier and enough to light the fire in the evening, the dry logs are ready under a tarpaulin, it's perfect.

Our place was through the thin forest edge, close to the road. We heard the cars speeding past. The peace was sometimes disturbed by music and children screaming on the water.

Very nice campspace with a lot of space. There are also plenty of facilities such as water, electricity, barbecues, wood for campfire ... We stood on the immense lawn. The pitches in the forest are just a bit too small for a camper.
The neighborhood is also ideal for walks and cycling. If you compare this campspace with comparable campspaces, it is a bit too expensive. But we will definitely come back here.

Walking in Boudelo Fondatie or cycling to Molsbroek is a must. We mapped out bicycle routes with the bicycle junction network. Recommended.

Fabulous grounds, with friendly and helpful owner. We swam in the pond, sailed the boats, had a BBQ and most of all camped together nicely and celebrated my birthday (with silent disco, as agreed). Next to us was a huge techno party all night long, hard beats until 5.30h, then the noise decreased, so not everyone slept well, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Well, Hendrik is a very friendly owner who likes to have everything in order and likes to have a chat. He patiently answered my numerous questions and helped where possible. I didn't always understand why we were shifted from one spot to another on the property before we came, but in the end everything worked out and we were on a beautiful field.

Check if there are loud parties planned with the owner (not a big issue for us as we were having a party ourselves, but it was intense)

The six of us had decided to go out for a weekend and Lysdonck fully met our needs. The pond can be sailed with a boat that is available, petanque or Kubbs can be played on the large lawn and a barbecue is provided at each camping site. Hendrik also provides some wood for making a modest and cozy campfire.

Hendrik has ensured a pleasant reception. During the stay he visits sporadically to see if everything is going according to plan and in the meantime we took the opportunity for a nice chat.

We were allowed to have a long-term stay with Hendrik for a relatively short day, and it was a very nice experience. The park itself is very quiet, and nature is maintained in a respectful way. You will find many birds that share the space with you (and because of the location also mosquitoes, so keep that in mind).

All in all, wonderfully relaxed, and exactly what we had hoped for.

We had a great time in the mobile home on domain Lysdonck. Everything needed to take our 19 month old daughter on a first trip. Thank you for opening up this beautiful domain to adventurers and connoisseurs.

Lysdonck was a wonderful starting point for us for trips with our daughter. It is beautifully situated between Sint-Niklaas (city, parks, playground in De Vidtspark), Lokeren (Forest park with animals and playground) and Wachtebeke (domain Puyenbroeck). A trip to the Dutch town of Hulst (wonderful walking and playing on the ramparts) is also nearby. A little further out we went to Perkpolder, to take the ferry from there to Hansweert. Lovely walks there on the dike and playing on the beach with a view of the large container ships. Of course we also enjoyed a boat trip and playing in Lysdonck itself!

Luckily the space was big enough. Fridge there is small and the electricity was apparently not enough to get our own camping fridge cool.

Hendrik was a very friendly host, a nice place in the forest by the lake, was our chosen place for 3 nights.

A toilet and shower was provided in a site shack. You were allowed to gather wood and burn it at your own place.

Shame about the neighbors' dogs that they made so much noise, and the cars were also somewhat present, in the evening and at night it was very quiet.
Hendrik occasionally came to check if everything was okay, and if you are short of something, he will certainly do his best to make sure, nothing is too much for him.

Our first experience with Campspace was a great success thanks to the lovely host and his super friendly welcome! On his large, beautiful grounds, there was a lot of choice of where to pitch our tent, both in the woods and on the open plains. Despite the warning for the mosquitoes, we chose a spot on the water. A donkey does not hit the same stone twice, next time you will find us on the open plain. We could enjoy it in peace and quiet. Well worth it!

Well-functioning sanitary facilities and also extra cooking facilities in the open air. Ideal for families with children as there are also many play options.
