A warm welcome to the Mamalou
A dream place for 4 people on the edge of the walking area De Linie and within walking distance of the historic Hanseatic city of Doesburg. In a green private spot, behind De Schilderschool, the Mamalou has its own garden and veranda of 9 meters. The place for walkers, cyclists and peace seekers! Nice to also book as couples or friends. Unfortunately not suitable for pets and children between 2 and 12 years.

Where exactly is the Mamalou located?



Behind the Mamalou, the 'Lage Line' is a green corridor through the Hanseatic city. Yet you only have to walk 3 minutes to the center of the historic city center of Doesburg. You have your own entrance, garden of 70m2 with lawn and fire pit. The Mamalou is in green behind De Schilderschool. In consultation you can request various workshops via De Schilderschool.


The Veluwezoom, the Liemers and the Achterhoek. Within 1 kilometer.
Hanseatic city of Doesburg with historic city center within a 2-minute walk.
The Veluwe nature reserve zooms in 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike.
The Posbank nature reserve, 15 minutes by car.
Cycling paradise the Achterhoek directly out of Doesburg and the Achterhoek shows itself.
Arnhem - Burgerszoo, Open Air Museum, 20 minutes by car.
Apledoorn - Amusement park Julianatoren and Het Loo, 35 minutes by car.
Nijmegen - Orientalis, Africa Museum, 45 minutes by car.

PAINTING WORKSHOP - Enjoy a painting in the Painting School. Duration 1 hour. With professional guidance. Materials to be paid in cash afterwards. €60,- excluding material ± 5,- per person
'BAKE YOUR OWN PIZZA' WORKSHOP - Learn to bake pizzas with a clay oven. €70,- for 1 hour of guidance, firing the oven. Then bake it yourself. The price includes the dough and the basic sauce, you buy the topping yourself to taste.

What is included in the price?
> Coffee and tea. A small stock is available free of charge on arrival.
> The basic ingredients such as toilet paper, pepper and salt are present.
> Towels 1 pp! If you want more towels, you can do so for a cash fee of € 2 per towel.
> Towels, tea towels and dishcloths
> Wood burning stove and outdoor fire pit with free wood!
> Sometimes light wood yourself when splitting (axe present)
> Wifi inside and outside
