Went here as a group of friends and part of a scouting for a midweek and loved every hour of it. The surroundings are beautiful and this applies to both nature and architecture, in addition, the location of this camping site is ideal because you are far enough away from the crowds to relax, but you are not driving half an hour to the closest village to be found. Although we initially had the idea that there was not much to do in the area, we were pleasantly surprised by the many activities that are possible. The camping site itself was neatly tidy on arrival and facilities neatly clean. Everything went very relaxed, which created a lot of freedom (and this is secretly nicer than when a list of rules is pushed under your nose). Fixed places were not really the case here, so you can choose your favorite place within the site and decorate it yourself. All in all, one of the best camping spots we've come across so far, where you're free to do your own thing and definitely recommended to the younger camper.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with Alexander went well, although he was also enjoying his holiday at the same time, everything was well prepared and arranged with temporary replacements where we could go with our questions. He can always be reached online and usually responds within every hour via Campspace.

Tips for new guests?
The water is very close by and if you like activities on or by the water, it is definitely recommended to take advantage of this. In addition, it is recommended for campers who also like to sit on the terrace to go to cafe De Dam, both in the afternoon and in the evening, a very nice and beautiful location. Furthermore, we can certainly recommend a regular walking tour, we have not regretted it.
