About this campspace

Welcome to our farm at the Kemnade reservoir!

We live on an old farm surrounded by forests and fields, just a 5-minute walk from Lake Kemnader in Bochum. We would like to offer other families or individuals/couples the opportunity to spend a nice and relaxing time on our property. Please note: this is not a commercial campsite! If you are expecting toilets/sanitary facilities or a super flat spot to pitch your tent or park your RV, this may not be the place for you!

What is there to experience here?

We sell eggs and homemade sourdough bread, focaccia or rolls and bagels for breakfast (upon request). The Kemnader reservoir invites you to go hiking, cycling or inline skating with or without pets. Surfing, pedal boating or kayaking/canoeing is also possible on the lake. Around the lake there are numerous food stalls, ice cream vans, places to stop for refreshments and even a beach bar!

We are unable to provide a toilet at the moment (construction of an outside toilet is in progress). If you don't mind going to the forest, that's great!). We don't want noisy parties or people leaving trash. No long-term camping inquiries please
