Clean sanitary facilities and a nice wooden castle, very nice for the (adult) children.

Stayed 1 night, would have liked to stay a night longer.

Beautiful setting and super welcomed by Agnes. The design of the campsite is cool with the castle!

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. She was friendly and helped us out by lending her suppump as we forgot it. She also asked if we wanted to do archery which we did with her for an hour. We were even allowed to shoot from the castle.

Tips for new guests?
Enjoy a small cozy campsite in the middle of nature.

Never knew Groningen is so beautiful.
The campsite borders directly on the 't Roegwold nature reserve. A beautiful nature reserve where many cycling and walking routes run through.
You will spot beautiful birds of prey, storks and bats and if you are lucky you will also spot foxes and deer. I got to see them all in 2 days at the campsite
If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is also the place for you. You can rent a canoe at the campsite, but you can also go climbing and archery.
The sanitary facilities are neatly clean and I have never seen such beautiful sanitary doors! There are beautiful horse drawings on the doors.
The owners are very enthusiastic and helpful. They complete the picture of a happy holiday.
Book your holiday and discover Groningen, you will certainly not regret it.

We have been here for 3 days the first week of January. Despite the bad weather we had a nice stay. We went for a walk between the showers, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and made it cozy with hot chocolate and marshmallows over the fire.
