About the location
On the edge of the Loonse- en Drunense Duinen National Park, in a beautiful biodiverse woodland garden is my second home, a vintage red cedar chalet. There is a play castle in the garden and a sandpit. Children are welcome. From the garden you can walk straight into the forest, watch birds, spot deer, discover badger tracks. In ten minutes you are in the hamlet of Giersbergen and De Drie Linden. Mountain bikes and day tickets can be rented there. Natuurmonumenten has set out countless short and long walking routes along woods, heathland, meadows and drifting sand. There is plenty of swimming water in the region: swimming pools and natural pools. For the sports enthusiasts there is a climbing forest, tennis court, mini golf and a riding stable within cycling distance. Of course Den Bosch and Tilburg with their culture and nightlife are worthwhile.

Very nice, spacious place on the edge of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, you can walk straight into the forest. In the meadow opposite the campspace there are regularly deer and the large garden itself is full of special trees, flowers and plants. The solid De Waard tent is fully equipped, with furniture, all necessary kitchen utensils including gas and basic sleeping mats. Tip: if you want to camp a little less rough, bring your own sleeping mats😊. Host Robert and hostess Annette do everything to make you feel comfortable (if you want to be left alone is also completely fine) and are super hospitable. Recommended!
