THE CAMP: Located in Cirali in the stunning Bay of Olympos west of Antalya, Off The Road Camp offers simple accommodation designed to blend into a vast beach-side garden planted with maple, avocado and fruit trees. The beach is on our doorstep and we are only at a 5-mn walk from the village’s main street and shops. Yet, our camp is a secluded and quiet place where you will feel surrounded by nature. Cats, friendly dogs, ducks, chickens and peacocks share the space with us. Off The Road welcomes travelers who value outdoor living and nature more than standard hotel amenities and air conditioning. It is also a good place for workshops and gatherings (you can book the whole space for your group). You can either plant your tent or camping car under the shadow of old maple trees, or you can rent a tent or bamboo cabin («capsule») from us. Each tent or capsule is equipped with a thick double mattress and bed linen. Capsules are also equiped with electric light, a 220V plug and a mosquito net.

- the 3 km long beach on your doorstep !
- a shared bathroom including 2 showers (hot water is solar), 2 toilets and 2 lavabos.  - the kitchen : we serve a varied and wholesome breakfast from the counter (self service). A fridge is at your disposal near the kitchen entrance to store your own drinks and food during your stay.
- a lounge with a choice of musical instruments (no TV). This room is perfect for small-group activities on rainy days.
- unlimited broadband internet (the wifi covers most of the garden).
- flat lawn areas suitable for outdoor activities such as yoga sessions or volley ball.

ABOUT THE AREA: The Bay of Olympos is a place of great natural beauty where heavy concrete is banned. Cirali itself is a small settlement spread out in the forest along the 3 km beach. Surrounded by high forested mountains, the turquoise bay is a nature lovers’ hangout and a major nesting spot for the endangered Caretta-Caretta marine turtles. If you like outdoor activities, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

WATER ACTIVITIES: The sea is crystal clear and great for snorkelling. Beyond the beach are pretty coves and caves which you can explore on \nfoot, with a canoe, or on a boat tour. You might even catch a glimpse of marine turtles and dolphins.

TREKKING: There are various hiking trails through the forest and the mountains, including sections of the famous Lycian Way. We can help you plan your hikes or you can join our guided treks to explore the most scenic coastal and mountain paths the area has to offer. > ROCK-CLIMBING: The bay of Olympos has become a prime spot for rock-climbing with over 250 routes of various grades. All are within walking distance from Off The Road Camp. We are amateur climbers ourselves and we can help you make the most of your climbing trip here. We also have climbing gear available for rent.

YOGA: In the bay, the sun rises from the sea, and the beach is a favorite spot for early morning yoga sessions. With its shady, peaceful atmosphere, Off The Road’s garden is very suitable too for yoga. You can even book a session with Sylvia, our resident yoga teacher.

MOUNTAIN JEEP TOUR: The bay is surrounded by the high Taurus mountains and the Baydaglari Natural Park. Hop on our small \njeep for a private tour through ancient forests, mountain lakes and bare summits.

ANTIQUE SITES: The whole region was once called Lycia, a pre-hellenistic civilization dating back as far as 1400 BC. Two sites can be visited in Cirali : the quaint ruins of the antique Olympos ; and mythical Chimera, where eternal flames of gas escape from cracks in the rock. MARINE TURTLES: We are involved in the local turtle protection initiative. If you come in May/June, you might be able to see Caretta-caretta turtles come to the beach at night to lay their eggs. In September, you will be able to watch the babies hatch from their nest in the sand and reach the sea at sunrise.
