JanMovement for Nature, Animals & Welfare is a community event of people and other animals in and around a small, old farm near the Vinne and the Zwartaardebos. This farm is the operating base for a small herd of donkeys that are used in and around the Vinne for ecological grazing of grasslands and nature reserves. Our donkeys are also happy to take you on a tour through the unique cultural-historical landscape of the Kleine and Grote Gete valleys. This can be done for a few hours or even several days!

The tipi is located on a nice old farm, in a rural location and with a view of the forest. There was a covered outdoor kitchen with all necessities and compost toilets. Unfortunately there was no hot water for a shower. We thought it was a nice experience and had a good time. However, 100 euros (including service costs) is on the pricey side for 1 night.
How was the contact with the host?
Very good, pleasant and friendly reception

great beautiful surroundings, unique place to stay, very nice walks.
The company of horse and donkey enhances the feeling of the environment.
"Café de Resistance" where you can provide yourself with a drink was a nice added value.
We also enjoyed the campfire with wood.
Worth repeating.
How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly reception.
Tips for new guests?
the tent has 1 double bed with slatted base and mattress. The second bed is more like a stack of thin inflatable mattresses. Despite the conscious lack of luxury, we would have brought our own air mattresses here sooner, if we had known this. Facilities state "hot" shower. However, no hot water available.
The available outdoor kitchen is really equipped with all the necessities. plates, glasses, pots and pans, .... even coffee and tea available. So don't load anything superfluous for your stay.

Had a great time, super cozy, small campspace where we rented the Yurt. Yurt is neat, complete with a double bed and 4 sleeping pads for the kids. There is a very large tarp in the middle of the site where you can sit, read, eat, play games. Fire pit and outdoor kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Back to basics & back to nature.
How was the contact with the host?
Pleasantly & kindly received, clear explanation about everything. We also booked a donkey ride, definitely recommended.

The host was very friendly and explained us everything.
It was very peacefull, quiet and cosy. There was a campfire and the kitchen had a lot of equipment. The bathroom facilities were very basic, but we knew this and it had its charms
Tip: Bring a little camplight

Sleeping among the donkeys, a dream come true for me. What a super nice back to basic place this is. The yurt is fantastic with enough distance from the camping spot. They have many donkeys that all like to come and cuddle. In the summer they are sometimes on the meadow, but also, just like with me, on the property. It was nice and the outdoor shower, the campfire and Jan made the experience complete.
