Camping at the gateway to the Thuringian Forest
On our spacious and fenced park area you will find your own individual place to camp a bit like in the wild - whether around the castle pond or on the sunny hill next to the castle. Our "Wie wild" camp is child- and of course dog-friendly. In contrast to children, dogs must be kept on a leash - also in the interest of the horses, goats, sheep, donkeys and cattle that tend the park. Electricity, sanitary facilities (warm shower and toilet) and fresh drinking water are of course available to you.
Child-friendly day trips
Located almost in the middle of Germany, at the gateway to the Thuringian Forest and with a wide range of excursion destinations in the area, Ohrdruf is the ideal starting point for numerous day trips and activities for young and old. Visit, for example, the Schmalwasser dam or the Ehrenstein Castle.
