The first thing you need to know about our place is it is not the easiest to get to even though its only 20 minutes walk from Hebden Bridge and only just off the Pennine Way.

You can drive to us, but you will have to brave a very sharp corner, and ideally a car with a bit of clearance would make light work of it – a pick up will go, but you’d need some skills…

You can always park at the bottom and walk up, Amazon drivers usually do, or we could arrange to meet you, and pick you up, but where’s the fun in that!

The second thing you should know is the photos don’t do it justice. We want to keep the place secret, so if you’re reading this…

The limited access is part of the appeal, even though its only a short walk Hebden, the best bit is its private.

Standard facilities are limited, but we do have power, and you can get water from us in water containers, or even from the stream.

With all this said, we do have a full set of camping equipment we can lend you – stoves, pans, seats – we can even have a tent ready for you if you’d like to pay a bit more.

We have a doggy of our own, and he loves other dogs, but we also have free roaming hens during the day, so doggies just need to be well behaved and clean up after them if its in any of the social areas.

We have a fire pit, an onsite pub – well it’s a shed, full of wood that doubles up as a bar, a pizza oven built from our own land and if you time it right, some freshly grown veg and eggs.

We can also suggest walking routes, the best of the local restaurants, where to get a pint amongst other things.

We are adding stuff all the time, and we have only just started out, the price might look dear for the facilities, but once you’re hear, you’ll see why.

Please do feel free to contact us for any other information.

Kay and I live in Hebden Bridge across the valley from Stoodley Pike, we are easy going and whilst we do everything we can to reduce and reuse.

We have a beautiful place, and this is our way of sharing it

Rules

We are very beginning campsite journey at this moment the ground has been levelled and grass grown on it and is ready to take a tent!

It’s a private spot, which is for those that seek privacy, the nearby stream means its not quiet, but it is peaceful.

We don’t have running water to the field yet, but can arrange for water to be supplied.

We have hens that run free during the day, so its well behaved dogs only, and clean up after them.

The space is ideal for 3 people, or 2 and a doggy.

We can also arrange for a tent to go up for you, so you only need to bring sleeping bags and floormats. Please enquire before you book.
