Many hiking trails in Rheinhessen Schweiz start right at our winery, as well as a bird nature trail that you can explore by bike or on foot, you have the option of hiking along the Appelbach or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. There is a swimming pool and sports field nearby.

Herman and his family couldn’t have been more accommodating.

We were lucky enough to be there when they were having a wine tasting and a more generous host you could not imagine.

We look forward to returning.

Amazing place to stay! Made very welcome and wine tasting was great-and also free which I don’t think would happen often in the UK!

One toilet and 3 EHU was perfectly adequate  for us but may not suit everyone. Orchard area at end cul de sac was ideal and so, so peaceful-just the sound of the babbling Brook and the birds of prey, with little white butterflies/and we even saw 2 deer

The space is generous for 3 or 4 vans but even in August we were alone for half of our 10 nights

The village swimming pool is at the other end of the cul de sac and at €2.50 it’s  perfect! Small bar there too, showers and changing areas, garden and so clean-and open Wednesday to Sunday 12-6

I heartedly recommend this as a place to relax, unwind and enjoy a break. It may not stay so quiet though as I’ve recommended it to so many people!

Nice place to stand, but please note: there is a photo with a beautiful wide view in the description. We assumed given the description and the photo that this is the view you have from the camping spot. This is not the case.

Great piece of land to stand on. At the time of stay there were two other families to our left and right. The part where people are allowed to stand is next to a shed and offers no further view of meadows or a water tower (due to tall trees), you do hear the river, I really think the host could be more transparent with regard to the location

The host did not respond to my message of what time I would arrive. Furthermore, I did not see or speak to the host, so the stay was nicely said "contactless"
