Lovely garden, creative and artistically stimulating. The outdoor kitchen is very nice with the use of a gas appliance and a real fridge and picnic table. Nice flat grasses to lie softly on the mat. How nice to sink your feet into the grass with a fire in the fire bowl, with the freedom to bake a sand cake in the sandbox :)

How was the contact with the host?
Pleasant, calm and attentive people.

Tips for new guests?
An extra sign for directions would be nice...but: it is at the back of the side road in the bend, left into that barely-road-road.

It took some searching, but then I came to a beautiful backyard with colorful flowers. Warm welcome with a beer. There appeared to be 2 places to set up my tent. There was a natural shower with bags of water heated by the sun, a toilet, refrigerator and a coffee maker. Especially the peace in that beautiful garden is startling and that so close to Nijmegen. Recommended!

We enjoyed this beautiful spot near Nijmegen. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the campspace. The garden has become a paradise, especially when all the flowers are in bloom. Everything to cook on is present, as is a lovely outdoor shower. You can't pick a better place near Nijmegen than here. Thank you!

Great place to stay, quiet location. Nijmegen is easily accessible by bicycle, and a bus stops within walking distance to Nijmegen city center management.

Erik and his wife were wonderful: they were welcoming, kind and they replied very fast.

When we wanted to rent bikes so we could cycle to the city centre of Nijmegen they offered their own! Super nice :) We ended up not taking them, because we're too short for their bikes and it was just as easy to go by car, but their hospitality was heart warming.

We could also use the toilet, which was super closeby to our tent.

They also have a water tap and an outdoor kitchen.

It's maybe 10 min. by car to Nijmegen centrum and about 20 min. by bike.

Both Erik and his wife were lovely people and great hosts!

How was the contact with the host?
Great, lovely and welcoming people.

Tips for new guests?
If you're expecting a spectacular view (which we didn't, because we knew what we were up for and we were more than happy) then maybe go elsewhere. The location is perfect in a lot of ways, but not if you want to be right in nature and have loads of trees around you or something. Then maybe it's best you stay at a regular camp space, located somewhere in nature.

The contact with the host was excellent. An incredibly fun and valuable experience. You get to know new people and you can spend the night in their garden. You get tips about the area by locals and it doesn't have to be expensive!

Had a great experience with Erik and Janine at their campspace in Nijmegen-North. Booked this campspace last-minute during my cycling trip and the contact was fast and extremely friendly. I had the honor to be their first guest and was kindly received with a nice cold beer 😁. I was allowed to set up my tent in a beautiful large garden with chickens. There is not much of a view, but the lush garden is a wonderful place to relax. An ideal camp space for people with small children. Before leaving, kicked a ball with the curious kids. It is close to the motorway but this did not hinder me during my stay. You can cycle to the Lentse Plas in 5 minutes on the RijnWaalpad (an approximately 15 km long bicycle highway that connects Arnhem and Nijmegen). A beautiful recreation area for swimming and supping, for example! The same RijnWaalpad also takes you to the center of the city of Nijmegen. Facilities such as a supermarket and various catering establishments can be found in nearby Oosterhout or Lent.
