We arrived at the campsite and immediately someone came walking towards us. We were taken to our place and arrived at a beautiful spot with a great view over the bulb fields. We were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset from our spot. In the course of the evening we were told that they were going to make a campfire and whether we wanted to sit there. Of course we did and we had a lovely evening by the fire. Making a campfire regularly happens at the weekend when there is not too much wind. Sometimes they light it earlier so that the children at the campsite can bake marshmallows there. You can also do various things in the area. You can go to the beach, visit the lighthouse (Lange Jan), to Fort Kijkduin or by boat to Texel. Sometimes Peter also goes out with a group of guests, for example you can go to a salmon tasting. If you want to do something fun, just ask Peter or Petra. At the campsite, children can enjoy themselves in the playground and sometimes activities are also organised. In addition to the playground, it is also ideal that there is a family room. Here you can easily change or bathe a child. It is a beautiful campsite that has not been around for very long and it is unique that you sit next to/behind a flower bulb grower.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host Aukje was fine. We knew where we stood. Petra herself also came to visit us and learned more about the campsite and the activities.
Tips for new guests?
We think it is wise to take a bicycle or car with you if you are staying here for a while. You are in a wonderfully beautiful quiet place, but that is why not everything is always close by. Make sure your camping equipment can withstand the wind, it's Den Helder, it's always blowing here. Are you staying at this campsite during the weekend? Don't forget a nice chair and a nice drink by the campfire.

Very nice little place.
We stood right on the edge of the field and could enjoy the sunset every evening. From there you can go on great bike tours, be it to Texel or to Callantsoog.

Nice campsite, view of tulip fields in all kinds of colors, close to the sea, Den Helder and De Nollen (recommended!).
The campsite is basic. Toilet etc are very clean. More tulips on the sink.
How was the contact with the host?
Nice, welcoming.
Tips for new guests?
- A visit to the Nollen, with large art objects by Ruud van de Wint, in the middle of nature, and with a nice cafe. The area is only accessible with a guide, so book in advance. Free with museum card.
- On the beach at Julianadorp you can sit and have lunch at beach bar Zee van Tijd.

We were lucky and were able to book the small place at a very special time - the tulip fields were blooming all around. We also spent a very quiet and comfortable night. The children immediately discovered the playground for themselves.
