Visit Thun which is a town near Lake Thun, in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region. Explore Turreted Thun Castle, which is from the 1100s and is located on a hill above the old town. It has sweeping views of the Alps. Berne is just half an hour away. Hikers and cyclers will enjoy the countryside.

We had a very nice time in Hansruedi's garden :) Swimming pool is nice extra. Beautiful region with many hiking trails, close to Thun.

Very easy going, pleasant, sense of humor. Fun people!

Would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area. We were happy to be off the beaten path and drive ~40 min to Interlaken to hike and swim.

We had a great experience at this campspace!!! The location is incredibly beautiful and the fact that you have to lift your camping gear up the stairs makes the view more than good! The pool cooled us down and the kids could play in it.

The host and his wife are incredibly nice, helpful and hospitable! Both before and during our stay.

Tips for new guests?
Bring a travel plug/travel adapter. Wide eu plugs do not fit in the Swiss sockets.

Staying at Hans' was a luxury and a true pleasure. Since the drive to their place, the views were astonishing. We arrived, sweating from the heat in the car, and his family welcomed us and invited us over to the pool and a cold drink. The landscape you see from their garden is surreal, with mountains and grass all around. The cows gave us concerts all through the day and the clouds played around with the mountain peaks. The house cat made sure we felt like part of the family. We weathered a storm, with rain, wind and thunder and all was fine. It was a pity we didn't stay longer, but the mountain beckons.

Hans and his family are very open, positive people. We had nice conversations with Hans and we feel the need to come back.

During our western-alps roundtrip we had a lovely two nights at Hans-Ruedi’s micro-camping. What a welcoming reception by Hans-Ruedi and his family. A tranquilly environment and a true ‘campspace-with-a-view’. A true pleasure how our kids matches and played together and to see us adults switch between german and english without even noticing. We would definitely love to come back to your lovely place and hospitality.
