Camping in someone's yard was a whole new concept for my friend and me. We liked it very much! Everything is easy to arrange via the Campspace platform.
The garden of our host Thomas is a wonderful camping spot! Everything is well maintained and it is very spacious. The hostess proudly showed me the vegetable garden, very impressive! Later I had a delicious cup of fresh mint tea from her.
Our two dogs were also very welcome, Thomas had even found a ball for them to play with.
In the afternoon and evening I could use the toilet inside. In the garden there is a hot shower with shampoo and shower gel. The area is beautiful and nice and quiet. There are also many nature reserves in the area for walking. One time we got up especially early to watch the sunrise from our tent, which remains quite special. We've been there twice now in a short period of time and we've had a great time!

How was the contact with the host?
Very good, communication via Campspace was quite easy. The hosts are very sweet, friendly, social and helpful people. They have been doing this for about four years now. They have a genuine interest in the guests and I think it is very nice to have campers in the garden. They liked to hear about our plans and when we saw each other at the end of the day they asked what we had been up to and how we liked it. At one point we had some meat left over, Thomas immediately offered to put it in the fridge so that it would keep. On the day we left, we didn't see each other anymore and it was neatly ready for us in a bag. In short, very warm and hospitable!

Tips for new guests?
We've only been here twice for a short time so we're not very familiar with the area yet. We visited Lago Laprello, a huge lake that you can walk around. This is definitely recommended!

Easy to find the campsite, well described how to get there. The grass was cut neatly and overall it was a great place to set up a tent. The view of the wheat field was very soothing. The hot shower outside is amazing! With that said, there is a busy road nearby, so bring earplugs. And when I was there, a party was happening in the village nearby, making it hard to fall asleep before the bass stopped thumping.

How was the contact with the host?
Thomas greeted me in the morning and was very nice. He even allowed me to use their toilet inside, which is not included in the campsite amenities.

Tips for new guests?
Bring earplugs, there is a noisy road nearby. The shower's water pressure switches off at around 9 pm, so squeeze one in before then.
