About this campspace
The southern Peloponnese has many and varied sites to explore, the sea is blue and clean. I live in a mongolian yurt and rent out a modern american yurt for 70 euros for 2 people per night, with breakfast. The gardens are 2500m2 set in an olive grove with flowers, shrubs and trees. Camping in your tent or caravan or Bed and Breakfast in the new yurt is available. Plus the treehouse is a romantic place for 2. There is solar electric, modern composting toilet, solar hot water, and grey water system. The site overlooks the Messenia bay. There is also a tree house which has an L shaped sofa for one or two people. The treehouse is available at 40 euros per night with breakfast for 2 people. The sea is just 3 kms away and there are many beaches to choose from whether you like crowds and music or peace and quiet. Please contact me if you want to camp in tent or van for prices and date available. There is a steep hill to come up, so if van is very large this could be a problem. You can paraglide nearby, swim, climb and horseride. Plus of course there are many lovely beaches, large and small, some secluded and some with cafes, and tavernas. Lots of places to visit. This is an adult site, There are many high walls children can fall from and a pond. I dont accept pets or children,sorry.

Overall, the stay with Diane was very nice.
Diane is a very friendly and approachable host who is happy to cater to individual wishes and strives to ensure a special, unforgettable holiday. It is also unforgettable because everything is plain and simple and integrated into nature. I liked this better, especially for my own needs, than staying in a fancy hotel with lots of tourists. At Diane, the opposite is the case: there are a maximum of a manageable number of guests, it is familiar and quiet.
How was the contact with the host?
My contact with Diane was approachable, open and warm. The communication was in English.
Tips for new guests?
It's really all very simple. Therefore there is no air conditioning in the yurt. It can get very warm there in midsummer, although it cools down quite a bit at night. It can also happen that the cats come from the grounds into the yurt and make themselves comfortable there. This should be taken into consideration by those with cat allergies. Tip: If in doubt, take an anti-allergy medication with you. I handled it well myself because Diane was kind enough to thoroughly clean all the cushions and the entire yurt to remove the cat hair.
Otherwise: Just look forward to a very special holiday in a typical mountain landscape with a wonderful view of the sea, which is easily accessible by car!
