I like to share my magical place in nature with others. People come here to relax and recharge.

This place is still under development. Improvements are being made all the time. Permaculture is definitely on the agenda.

The nature reserve De Gratiebossen is nearby. And the Donkmeer is not far either. There you can sail with a boat, enjoy good food or visit the butterfly garden.

There is a Mongolian yurt on the property that can be rented. If desired, you can also book a relaxing massage. Feel free to message me for more information about this.

Campers longer than 5 meters are not recommended, as the entrance has a sharp bend, and the wheels can sink into the ground in rainy weather.

Beautiful quiet location.
I was able to camp here with the family peacefully in the roof tent.
Super cozy at the campfire and beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking.

I'll definitely be back soon.

How was the contact with the host?
The introduction to the enthusiastic and very grounded owner was also very nice!

Tips for new guests?
I was on site with another family staying overnight in the Yurt. Grounds are big enough for your privacy and tranquility, but we chose to sit around the campfire together and the kids played together!

A place to unwind with friendly helpful hosts. In any case, staying overnight in a yurt is a unique experience!

A nice, quiet place!
Beautiful yurt!
Still some things under construction (such as outdoor kitchen), so it will only get better in the future.

Smooth contact with the host.

This is a little paradise under construction. We were alone so we could gather wood to our heart's content for the campfire. The yurt is beautiful.
We will definitely come back here. We are curious about the outdoor kitchen. An outdoor shower would certainly complete it.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good.

Tips for new guests?
The double mattress is a bit on the thin side. Currently no possibility to shower.

Thank you Karolien for the great weekend! The communication was easy and friendly, responses very quick and helpful. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Was exactly what we were searching for. It is being taken care of, this is immediately visible. We had a great time! Would love to come again.

Tips for new guests?
Good to consider that there might be other campers at the terrain. Also if you are planning on swimming at the Nieuwdonk lake nearby, at the moment you need to book a ticket for that online...

Very clean yurt in a beautiful forest. There is even a swing on a tree.
Karoline was very sweet and helpful. We definitely want to go back!

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly and polite

Tips for new guests?
Bring slippers. You are not allowed to enter the yurt with shoes (so that it stays clean), so slippers are handy to put on and take off quickly :-)

Text from the host: "I mentioned on my Campspace profile that the silence had to be respected + that your own garbage had to be taken with you. Two rules that you have ignored. As far as I'm concerned you should not come back." We arrived with our family of four.. we often book with airbnb and campspace. Almost all had good experiences .. Bit weird and rude reaction after. We sang 2 songs around the campfire and apparently the neighbours, who live tens of meters from our camp site, were disturbed by that, they will have to endure a lot more when you are fully operational. We did stop immediately after your text message. Forgot to mention? We did not take the garbage bag with us after the very heavy cloudburst that night. It was very wet and full of ants. That does not go in our car and there was no space provided on your property. Maybe a first point.. Too bad you literally tell us that we don't have to come back anymore, instead of friendly feedback..

How was the contact with the host?
Fairly quick response via campspace. In real life also short performances, afterwards received less nice reaction. This made us feel uncomfortable..

Tips for new guests?
Don't go here if you expect a nice piece of forest, because the terrain is still fallow
Not even if you make a little more than 10 decibels of noise..

Dear Cato,
all the campers who have already been here, and there are quite a few, have left everything clean, you are the only exception. Whatever excuse you may have to leave a full bag of unsorted waste, it seems respectful to report that instead of just leaving it silently behind.

It also seems obvious to me that singing loudly after midnight, in the midst of an oasis of tranquility, is unheard of. Also in this you are the only ones who seem not to understand this.

I have always been clear in communication that the site is in full development. Improvements are made every week. The provision of a waste point is still on the program, you knew this.

I leave all campers free on the site and give all privacy. Everyone can choose the time of arrival and departure themselves. I provide free water bottles if desired. I am also always available for questions or help. In other words, I really do everything I can to please everyone. But there are also limits. Out of respect for the place, the tranquility and myself, I would rather not receive the same border crossingers twice. Thanks for understanding.

Contact with Karolien went smoothly. First small misunderstanding to find the camping site, but this was quickly resolved. We were pleasantly surprised! The peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Our dog Tony was over the moon! To be repeated. We wish Karolien continued success with the upcoming projects.

Karolien was very sympathetic and helpful. After the reservation it was very clearly explained how we could get to the camping site. It was a very nice experience and we enjoyed the silence in the forest and the nature around. We will definitely come back again! We wish you good luck with the ongoing projects! :-)

What a great spot. Nice rest in a forest. Recently pruned some trees but still a lot of green. Very nice was also the possibility to make campfire. Also very nice welcome from Karolien who made us feel very welcome. The place is changing rapidly because people are building a platform where they will hold sessions later on. We will definitely come back here.

It was a very pleasant reception. We were told we were the first guests. The personal vehicle could be parked on the plot and water bottles were provided. We were given a tour of the domain. Complete privacy was then given by Karolien.

The plot is a piece of forest under construction, currently a bit bare but this will only improve in the future. In the future, for example, a yurt, toilet and outdoor kitchen will be provided. Currently there are no amenities but that's just what makes it fun for me.

The forest borders a hiking trail but there is plenty of opportunity to sit out of sight. There is a large clearing to pitch the tent and make a campfire. However, you can place a tarp or tent between the trees in the forest.

There are many birds where you can really enjoy their singing.

Worth repeating!

Ideal for motorhomes and larger tents.

The site is still in full development, so there will be an outdoor kitchen. But in the meantime it's already lovely to stay there ☺️🌲🌲🌲

I will do everything I can to guarantee your peace and privacy. Please do not make any noise yourself.
