About this campspace

Our estate has a natural mini-campsite. With many spacious and private places to relax. There is a toilet block with a ladies' and men's toilet with two adjacent showers. An outdoor sink with five hot/cold water taps for washing dishes, etc
Lots of natural beauty around you and wonderful peace and quiet. Possibility to take spots with electricity consumption (incl.) and there is WiFi on the entire site. Also a swimming pond and large cozy fire pit.

The campsite has a wood-burning oven that can be used free of charge for ready-made pizzas or for making your own pizzas and other dishes. Great to do, fun and delicious!

You are very welcome in Toldijk in the Achterhoek. Our estate is located in the municipality of Bronckhorst on the outskirts of the quiet town of Toldijk, between the particularly attractive Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg. Toldijk is a real rural municipality in the province, which is very richly endowed with natural beauty.

The peaceful landscape around Toldijk is the so-called bocage landscape. It offers a magnificent variety of forests, meadows, fields and hedgerows, between which beautiful characteristic farms are hidden.

The farm is a wonderful base for cycling or walking routes or just relax in the silence of the Gelderland landscape. In the area you will find many farm shops with regional products or roadside stalls with seasonal fruit and vegetables.

You can easily rent bicycles from us via bike total Zutphen with drop-off and pick-up service or via Zutphen railway station.

We have two-pin sockets for power! So not those blue plugs. Think of an adapter plug! Bring cozy outdoor lighting. We often receive nice thank you's for the atmosphere here being so smooth.

We spent two nights at De Vrije Geest. It was our 1st experience camping in a tent with our two daughters (9 and 6 years old).

The experience was great! The girls immediately found children to play with. The atmosphere from the host feels friendly and familiar. All very relaxed. The toilets and showers were clean and perfect to regulate hot water.

The estate is wonderfully quiet and the energy circles with crystals were super cool. The chairs scattered around the field have been used for stargazing at night and enjoying the zen feeling during the day.

Our children baked sandwiches on a stick over a fire bowl, baked dough in the pizza oven and climbed endlessly in the nearby tree.

Excellent current at the pitches. We are in love! We will definitely come back here!

What a lovely campsite. Been to quite a few campsites, but this one is high on the list after our stay. We were supposed to stay 1 night, but it became 2. The children aged 7 and 9 had a great time. Wij hadden een erg fijne plek met onze drie camperbussen. De achtertuin van Jaco is mooi groen met allerlei fijne plekjes in de zon. Jaco is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De toiletvoorzieningen zijn wat karig (slechts twee wc's en douches op een hoop mensen) en ook niet heel schoon. Dat vergte dus wat tactisch planningsvermogen. De zwemvijver is in werkelijkheid wat kleiner dan hij oogt op foto's, toch hebben wij er heerlijk in gedompeld!
