About this campspace

We are a small-scale, personal and cozy campsite in the village of Oud Ade, on the outskirts of Leiden, in the beautiful municipality of Kaag en Braassem. There are many possibilities in the area for days out, such as Leiden, The Hague, beaches, museums, etc.

At the campsite, everyone can feel what it is like to live in the countryside.
Our mini campsite is located on a naturally landscaped terrain and has approx. 22 camping pitches. All camping pitches are equipped with 10 amp electricity and a water tap per two pitches.

We can't wait to welcome you to our beautiful place.

Ons Wijland is the dream come true of Arjan and his family. After 15 years of running a successful construction company, he finally took the step to make his dream come true. After looking at many locations, the choice finally fell on this beautiful and unique place in Oud Ade on the edge of Leiden and Leiderdorp in the Groene Hart.

Enjoyed two nights at this small-scale campsite between the meadows. A spacious and quiet place, in the evening there is cozy stinging light and during the day you can retreat to the lovely hammocks. The sanitary facilities are neatly maintained. Enjoyed the evening at the campfire together with other guests. A cozy and centrally located campsite.

Really nice! Free and jovial. Helpful with everything, both with a forgotten power cable and with exploring the area by giving useful tips.

Nearby is the Braassemermeer, you can rent sup boards from the harbor master with which you can do a nice route on the adjacent polder. You can also be on the beautiful beach of Noordwijk within half an hour!

I recently spent a night at Camping Ons Wijland in Oude Ade, and I can say with full conviction that it was a very restful experience.
The campsite is very accessible, but at the same time it feels like a hidden gem for nature lovers. Surrounded by lush greenery and with a beautiful view of grazing cows in the countryside, this campsite offers a serene atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, with spacious pitches, all with electricity and water points. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. In addition, there are bicycles for rent to discover the nearby area and two places where you can make a fire. The friendly reception offers valuable information about the area.

In addition to the fact that the campsite is practically furnished, it is also a model of hospitality. The owners only opened this campsite six months ago and have been busy improving the facilities ever since. The swimming pond, the meeting place and the outdoor shower have recently been opened. During my visit, Arjan and his wife told me about the great plans they have for the future. Their dedication and passion for this campsite is evident, making you feel welcome right away. The volunteers from the nearby area also lend a hand here and there to make the campsite a bit more beautiful.

Nice small-scale campsite near the center of Leiden and right in the green heart. Ideal place to spend the first sunny weekend of spring and to have the necessary night's sleep for the Leiden Marathon.
