Our micro-campsite in the fairytale Eifel is an absolute insider tip for families with children, hikers, dog lovers and all those who long for peace and relaxation in the idyll.

With us you can enjoy the beautiful view over the valley, during the day or during dramatic sunsets.

Breathtaking walks and hikes have been set out around our cozy and child-friendly micro-campsite, both in the vicinity and easily conquered as a day trip. After a long day of hiking in the Eifel, we invite you to a warm campfire by our fireplace on our spacious lawn, and the next morning you can strengthen yourself for your next adventure with fresh bread from the bakery and eggs from our chickens. We stayed with Anja for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is there and our 2 year old loved the chickens, ducks & rabbit and the slide, trampoline and pool.

The environment is also great, totally quiet and beautiful. We did a big E-MTB tour through many small hamlets and through lonely valleys. The trails were gorgeous for that, perfect for the single trailer. Malberg Castle was nice to look at and in Seffern there were fries and a nice playground. The playground in Nimshuscheid is also good, right behind the chapel, we didn't see it at first.

Anja was only there for a short time and showed us everything. The contact was very nice.

Tips for new guests?
A nice little hike of about an hour can be done in the direction of Johannisbachtal. Simply take the elevated road out, at the end of the meadow turn right along the path along the edge of the valley and at the bottom of the stream turn right up the meadow road again. At the edge of the valley you have a beautiful view of the opposite castle ruins.

Anja and her family have really created a dreamlike place. You stand next to a small courtyard, under apple trees and look out over the rolling hills of the Eifel, which almost remind you of Tuscany. - information on what to find where was lacking. The hosts did for example not show us where to put waste, to do the dishes, to tap electricity... In a room full of "junk" we found a freezer, a washbowl and a socket for some electricity.
