Nice mini campsite, with a trampoline, swing and slide. Our toddler loved it and loved the cats. It is also very nice that there is an interior space with a kettle and hob. And a beautiful view from the campsite!

We stayed with Anja for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is there and our 2 year old loved the chickens, ducks & rabbit and the slide, trampoline and pool.

The environment is also great, totally quiet and beautiful. We did a big E-MTB tour through many small hamlets and through lonely valleys. The trails were gorgeous for that, perfect for the single trailer. Malberg Castle was nice to look at and in Seffern there were fries and a nice playground. The playground in Nimshuscheid is also good, right behind the chapel, we didn't see it at first.

How was the contact with the host?
Anja was only there for a short time and showed us everything. The contact was very nice.

Tips for new guests?
A nice little hike of about an hour can be done in the direction of Johannisbachtal. Simply take the elevated road out, at the end of the meadow turn right along the path along the edge of the valley and at the bottom of the stream turn right up the meadow road again. At the edge of the valley you have a beautiful view of the opposite castle ruins.

We spent two very relaxing days here in a heavenly garden with a great view of the valley and great shade under a large cherry tree. Actually, we had planned day trips, but the children played so well here that we just stayed there the whole time.

How was the contact with the host?
Very uncomplicated and chilled.

Tips for new guests?
There is no supermarket or bakery within walking distance. It's best to get everything beforehand.
There is a table tennis table on the playground by the church

I had three wonderful days and two pleasant nights at the campsite - spontaneously extended. The area is beautiful, one has a great view, and a fire pit, shower/tub bath, and lounge (for those rainy moments) complete the offerings.
Great!
The chickens lay the "breakfast eggs" ;-) and the rooster rarely crows.

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly, courteous, interested and tried hard to make it as pleasant as possible for the guests.
A wonderful hostess.

Tips for new guests?
Do not drive onto the meadow in (heavy) rain; RVs or cars and trailers could get stuck (again).

We were here over Easter and spent really nice days here. Two dogs and child were super happy. Giant trampoline, play tower with slide, swing and campfire incl. Very quiet and beautiful location, many opportunities for hiking and relaxing. Old but very clean sanitary facilities with shower and bath. Lounge with small cooking & sink area. Beautiful playground in the immediate vicinity (chapel) Beautiful sunsets

How was the contact with the host?
Anja is a great hostess, very friendly and open. Helpful and gives great tips for everything.

Tips for new guests?
It's best not to drive the T5 bus onto the lawn, unfortunately we got stuck. But quickly resolved thanks to the help of the hostess.

A really lovely peaceful place with a fantastic view. The common area is fine. My children (8 and 9) couldn't get out of the playground. And not at the campfire in the evening either. There are some level pitches and some not level ones. It is nice walking in the area.

How was the contact with the host?
Asked a few questions in advance via the site and got everything answered quickly. She also let me know on the day of arrival that she herself was not present but that I could just pick a spot. All went fine. Then we met a very friendly woman.

Tips for new guests?
Right next to the coop is a lovely spot. Flat ground and the best sunset view (see photo)

Don't worry about the rooster, that lazy one only started crowing at half past eight :)

Anja and her family have really created a dreamlike place. You stand next to a small courtyard, under apple trees and look out over the rolling hills of the Eifel, which almost remind you of Tuscany. The kitchen, lounge and bathroom are in the guest room of an old, abandoned pub that looks very rustic. Here you can also hang out on not so good days and play board games or darts. The place is a dream especially for kids, there is a trampoline, chickens and the possibility to make a campfire. I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back!

How was the contact with the host?
Anja is a really cool woman who doesn't impose herself. But she was always there when I had a question or needed something. Thanks again for the fresh eggs and the accidentally (stolen) ice cream ;)

We were received very enthusiastically by Anja and her son Bram, he was waiting for us waving on arrival. We were given a nice tour of the garden with a beautiful view and were pleasantly surprised with fresh eggs from our own chickens. The campfire place and shower + toilet make this Campspace a very nice place to stay.

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly and helpful. For example, Anja informed us about the baker who brought fresh bread / breakfast in the morning.

The stay was very nice. We were 4 girls and stayed for one night. We received a very nice welcome, always felt welcome and the view at Anja & Nico's is fantastic. Because it is the garden of the family of 4, the two children, Iris & Bram, also play there. They are very curious, open and funny. If you want to have complete peace, then you should consider this. For us it was completely ok and the two children were very nice, funny and took you straight to their hearts. We were allowed to make a campfire, we were offered charcoal and firewood for a low price of € 2.50 & € 2, so you don't have to worry about anything.
The toilet is in an empty old pub directly on the meadow, where you can sit down freely. It is simple, not beautiful, but completely sufficient and so there is nothing missing. We would come back 😊

A friendly meeting when she came home from work in the evening.
We also had complete freedom to use her garden, lovely.

The place was beautiful, edge of the village with unobstructed views. We found the reception less. Anja was not present and we contacted a neighbor who indicated that we could find a spot. We only saw Anja later in the afternoon. Anja was not present in the morning and that was a challenge for the hot water. This could only be obtained on request, but if you are not present to turn on the boiler, the shower was very primitive, cold water. Furthermore, we only saw Anja in passing during our stay. There was no real contact.

How was the contact with the host?
Limited, only immediately after arrival

Tips for new guests?

Tell us about your experience
Beautiful surroundings. You really enjoy the peace here. It is really a top location to pitch your tent for a few nights. Swimming pool, play equipment for children are available. Bathroom and toilet are dated, but neat. The interior space for cooking and washing up is also dated and not tidy. That's too bad. You are surrounded by neighbors, but we were not bothered by this at all. There is a lot of shade through the fruit trees.

How was the contact with the host?
Arrival was very weird. The host was not there and there were no instructions. The host also did not respond to the messages.
There was also no hot water. Apparently the host has to turn on the boiler. She had forgotten that the next day.
We have seen the host for a while and it is a friendly sweet woman. She is quite busy with her family and her job and I had the feeling that the rental of this location was rather incidental. The toilets and bathroom were cleaned by her late at night and that was nice. We were also offered eggs and the possibility to use the WIFI was also there. (which was not necessary for us).
An instruction sheet would have been nice. For example, we only discovered after the first night that there is also a refrigerator in the shed.

Tips for new guests?
There are no shops nearby. The baker also only comes once a week. So make sure you have enough provisions yourself. In the dilapidated dirty interior space is a freezer and a refrigerator. Hot water is only available when the host turns on the boiler.

Tell us about your experience
You are in a garden - a spacious lawn with a fire pit and some fruit trees and with not much separation from the neighbors' garden, but also with beautiful and unobstructed views over the hills. The sanitary facilities are very basic, in a cluttered former café, but clean and functional. Fine for 2 nights but I didn't find it very romantic. You can enjoy walking in the immediate vicinity (there was a good hiking map), otherwise the village offers nothing.

How was the contact with the host?
Anja responded quickly to the reservation request. She and her daughter received us very kindly and showed us what is true, otherwise we had little contact during our stay. She wasn't there most of the time either.

Tips for new guests?
Make sure you bring everything you need or that you are mobile as the nearest shop is about 8km away.

August 2021 · Translated from dutch

Tell us about your experience
When we arrived there was only the son who told us we could stand where we wanted. It was a small sloping meadow behind the house with a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

How was the contact with the host?
There was only brief contact and it was friendly.

Tips for new guests?
Families with children are in good hands here.
Unfortunately, we had the feeling that only a meadow with a great view was rented out here. It really wasn't nice around it. The sanitary facilities are in an ancient economy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Also I can live with old toilets and showers. No problem. But these here were and are dilapidated. I'll spare myself a further description. Worse still, we didn't think there was a spark of love in it. A neat towel at the sink instead of a rotten rag. A few niceties/decoration to at least spice things up a bit. That you at least notice, there's no other way right now, but I'll make it nice for you. You had to cross a small yard bordering on the 3 open garages whose content was also not inviting. Everything was totally uncomfortable. At night going to the toilet across this unlit yard was an obstacle course as all the children's vehicles were lying around there. .
All in all, I can only say that someone here is selling an undeniably great view (and that's almost €20 a day, a lot of money) but has nothing to do with camping.

Our experience was rather negative because:

- information on what to find where was lacking. The hosts did for example not show us where to put waste, to do the dishes, to tap electricity... In a room full of "junk" we found a freezer, a washbowl and a socket for some electricity.

- the campspace is not flat! For the most part it is a rather steep downhill. The small flat part is occupied by a trampoline and a swimming pool, and the already present camping car. Hence, nowhere a suitable place to pitch a tent!

- taking a hot shower costs 2,5 euro. Some fire wood or eggs are to be paid for. The price for the campspace is rather reasonable but the fact that a shower is an extra dishonors the camping experience.

- one of the two nights we camped, the hosts themselves partied until late at night without taking into account that within 5 meters there is a family of four trying to sleep.

Nontheless, the view from the garden on the hills of the Eiffel is beautiful and our kids loved the trampoline and had a great play time.
