Or if you want to explore the area, this is a perfect starting point.

It's just not quite a quiet campsite (it is a wap) but people do get the need to

Hidden in the woods is a little paradise.

In 50 years this garden has grown into a wonderful place where peace and quiet embrace you right away.
When you walk around here you hardly dare to say anything .. afraid to break the silence.
And that's okay.. let nature tell its story and come to you (itself).
In the spring the frogs do have the highest word here and in the evening they take over the concert of the birds.
(bring earplugs??)

You will find our creativity everywhere.
In the buildings, the landscaping and in art.

Rainy hikers or cyclists are welcomed with a dry towel and have all their belongings dry in their bag the next morning.

I do not ask for an environmental tax, but I do ask whether you take your own garbage home again.
(compost can stay here)

At the general large picnic table you can enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or syrup with a homemade cake for a small fee.

Use of electric...
Charging your phone is included.
For batteries, cooling boxes, etc., we ask a fee of €2.50 pd

Welcome from 4.16 pm to 11 am.
Arrive earlier, stay longer?
In consultation and
for a fee pppu.

My space camp is also open for winter campers.

The Mamalou gypsy wagon is a nice place to relax. With a fire, a cup of coffee and a dip in the pond you will be reborn in no time. The area is very nice walking area.

Unique and beautiful spacious garden with lots of privacy. I even had the surrounding woods all for myself. Very good location for hiking and cycling and get away from the crowds. Nice mountainbike trail nearby (Staphorst)

How was the contact with the host?
Ursula was very friendly and helpful. She made sure everything you might need as a guest is there. She also found creative ways to communicate a lot of useful information, with little signs everywhere in the garden.

Had an unforgettable weekend with friends. When you enter the grounds (dream garden) of Ursula through the hidden door, you are blown away by the beauty. It was that beautiful. All amenities were there. A swimming pond, flowers and art objects everywhere. The gypsy wagon was equipped with everything you need. Seats everywhere. And then Ursula who is extremely hospitable. we were also lucky that we could use the lovely sauna. An unforgettable weekend and we will definitely come back to write our book.

Our second time at Ursula, that says it all.
A beautiful place with facilities that are becoming more beautiful and more extensive.
The garden is very relaxing and despite the cold, we swam in the inviting pond.

It was my second time at Ursala and also this time the weather was really great. Last time I slept in a tent, this time in the gypsy wagon. A super cozy house including a very nice wood stove. Ursala's place really feels like a small magical paradise that you normally think you have to go very far to find. But not so, just in IJhorst :)

My experience in the Pipo wagon was what I hoped, and as I am used to from camping. And that is a place that gives you the feeling that you can make yourself at home somewhere. The host Ursula was caring and sweet, and I was provided with all comforts. The location is beautiful and the surroundings are also very beautiful, I would especially recommend to plan as little as possible and see where you end up every day walking around the place. This host and place definitely get 5 stars!

It's an extremely relaxed place, very artsy and a bit hippie-like. I was received very hospitably by Ursula and immediately felt completely at ease. The wood-fired sauna was just fine when I arrived.
Spent the night in the Schelder. Slept naked, as Campsite advises in the winter with a hot water bottle in your sleeping bag. Then you stay very warm. And then in the morning (as from your sleeping bag) in the swimming pond with the morning mist. You feel completely one with nature here. I have booked another day. I will definitely be back in the spring. Really get to experience it! Really super relaxed!

It was amazing!! Ursula is the greatest host, super warm, friendly, welcoming person... We felt at home straight away. We only had a small tent, so she showed us different places where we could keep our things dry from the rain or dry our towels. She also has a great spot with shelter from rain and wind where you can cook. And the garden is so beautiful! With all kinds of artsy little treasures. We're coming back as soon as we can🤗 P.S. her massages are amazing too.. and she has the sweetest cat.

We received a friendly welcome and were given a tour of Ursula’s mini paradise. We slept in the Eagle’s Nest and had a beautiful view over the lovely swimming pond and the lawn. It was nice and quiet so we were able to go ahead. From the Campspace place we were able to get into nature and we took a nice walk through the woods and countryside. Occasionally Ursula came by and asked if everything was fine and if there was anything she could do. For example, I was not sure if I had enough gas in my can to cook, so half an hour later there were three gas cans on the table that she had found somewhere. In short, the perfect place to escape from all exams and graduation stress and enjoy!

This is a small paradise outside with a great garden. Very nicely received by Ursula, who turned the garden and camping into a creative “Masterpiece”, great! Taking a dip in the lovely swimming pond was also nice after being on the bike all day. Relax and enjoy the peace and especially the surroundings. Staying here for a night is really worth it!

Because you don't feel like pitching your tent ..
Or you don't have one and still want to sleep "outside".

There is enough space for 2 people in this shelter.
There is a blackout cloth so that you do NOT wake up from the rising sun at 4.30 am in the summer.
(but then the frogs wake up ??)
