We had a super nice stay! We could park our camper van next to the swimming pond - the next morning we heard the frogs croaking and we could immediately take a dip. Delicious!

Very nice motorhome with a fantastic sunset. The pitches are very spacious and offer sufficient privacy. The domain is very nicely laid out with a beautiful swimming pond. I decided super last-minute to go on a solo camping trip. This was the exact place I had in mind! I arrived by train and hopped on to an 'OV-bike', within 20min biking I arrived at this hidden treasure in the middle of the farm fields. We had a wonderful stay at Eva and Maarten’s Campspace. Eva and Maarten are super kind and welcoming! The campsite is lovely and has a trampoline, swimming pond, picnic table, place to make fire, cute animals and gorgeous views. We really enjoyed the slow camping life and the beautiful sunsets and campfires at night. We also went for a hike in Kampina, a beautiful nature reserve near the campsite. We stayed in the folding wagon which was very comfortable and had everything we needed!

Beautiful, quiet and small-scale campspace. Fully equipped kitchen and nice and warm shower. Winter camping is no problem, the self-ignited campfire kept us warm.

We stayed 1 night in an old camper van at Eva's beautiful location. Due to the rain of the past few days, we were unable to stand on the beautiful lawn, but that was compensated by the friendly hospitality of Eva and her husband, who immediately installed a fire pit for us so that we could still sit very comfortably close to our camper. Waking up with the sun on your face and clucking chickens literally walking around your van, blissful! The view is beautiful! The animals that all walk around are very sweet and most of them also very cuddly. Truly a place to return to.

How was the contact with the host?
Friendly. The children also got to see the animals. And they took time for that.

Tips for new guests?
Trains pass a few kilometers from the site. If you are not used to that, it is useful to bring earplugs for the night.

We had a lovely stay at Eva & Maarten's campspace. Lots of space and freedom to put up our little tent. We felt very welcome and everything was arranged very well and easy. We also really enjoyed the company of the dogs and little pigs. The little kitchen, toilet and shower were clean and super handy, as we did not have all our camping supplies with us. The BBQ we borrowed was great as well. The surrounding woods and lakes are beautiful but you are not allowed to swim in most of the lakes, which was a bit of a bummer. We got some good tips from our hosts though and had a nice swim in a little river nearby the campsite. We'd love to return when the swimming pond is ready!

We started walking the Camino for four days in Holland on Ascension day from Vught and we had some 'difficulties' finding a proper sleeping place until one (out of many) persons we'd contacted, gave us the phone number of Eva who owns together with Maarten this beautiful spot in a hamlet/township of Boxtel with the nice name Luissel. Not exactly on the route though; but it turned out to be a great alternative. Warmly welcomed by the owners Eva and Maarten who offered us a holder (vouwwagen) which was a really pleasant way to spend the night, being the whole day already outside. Placed in a wide field with a great view; Dutch evening skies can be miraculous. The whole place breathes a calm serenity and relaxed atmosphere. We were offered an outside diner, a barbecue with lots of veggies. Really good company Eva and Maarten; real people, real content, no superficial talks. We enjoyed it. In this way, being on this site (Campspace) corresponds perfectly well with how it is; the place is Spatial and Exa and Maarten five you this space to relax and be yourself. In all you see, taste, and feel that they choose for quality. The choice for local food for example. Have a go and taste how delicious things can be. They offered a variety of delicious natural, local things. The cheese made from the buffel farm nearby for example.... mmmmh. Overall a great place to day; good start hor a new day as well... Recommended

we have been in boxtel for 2 days. nice place, a normal shower and all kinds of things on the campsite just not finished. It doesn't matter if the price is right. I didn't think the campsite was worth the money afterwards. about 70 euros for a camper and 4 people. By far the most expensive campsite of our week camping.

In summary: Nice campsite, would like to come back but not for that money

Thank you for your review. Sorry to read that you didn't think it was worth the price. With 2 extra 'grown-up' daughters I understand the feeling. Your daughters came a day later, for which you have nicely received the amount back from us. As for the things that are not finished, I can't quite agree with that. We are fully developing; a beautiful swimming pond has been constructed, of which the wooden decking is almost in place. The pizza oven is in the making (actually for private use), pizza evenings may be organized in the future. An outdoor shower is currently also being realized, so more and more facilities are being added to our campspace. We only have 4 campspace spots, which makes camping here unique. Everyone therefore has plenty of space and can enjoy the beautiful view. I hope to receive you one day. Warm regards, Eva
