About this campspace

Cheerful and free camping on the edge of the "Cadetten Kamp" nature reserve.

Would you like to relax or be active? You can do both in our 2.3 ha forest.

There is only one camping spot in the forest at a time. A unique place for you alone or with a group in a beautiful forest.

The landscape offers a variety of different tree species and there is a young food forest. There is a survival run course where you can practice your survival skills (your safety is your own responsibility!).

You can also enjoy walking or cycling to the nearby 'Cadettenkamp', this beautiful drifting sand area, which is part of the Teteringse Heide, or to nearby towns such as Breda, Dongen or Dorst. There is an official mountain bike route through the Teteringse forest, which is one of the best entertaining routes in Brabant.

Our forest is securely fenced in, so that no pedestrians or cyclists pass by.

There is a nice compost toilet in our forest and a fresh water tap, which is 200 meters away.

You may make a small fire in the designated fire pit and use branches that are already on the ground.

You can pick fruit from the young food forest, but do so in moderation and only pick what you need!

Please take the waste with you on departure or deposit it in the waste bin.

Smoking on the property is not allowed due to possible forest fires.

Welcome! My name is Samantha Pellicaan-Dik, 47 heights young, together with my husband Quillermo we are the happy owners of a large piece of forest. We love to share this beautiful forest with nature lovers. I run my own company, SaPeDi, where I make beautiful products from the pruned wood that is in the forest. In addition, there are also relaxing activities in the forest, such as sound massages, sound sessions and meditation. My husband, Quillermo, is a fairly fanatic survival runner himself and has built an entire run course with pruned trees. In 2019 we planted a whole food forest, which is still growing and to which we spend a lot of love and time. It's very nice to be in the woods, who knows, you might hear and see our buzzard!

I am happy to write a positive review about this camping site at the Dongense Baan in Teteringen. What a great experience we had here!

First of all, the area where we could camp was huge and offered us all the space and tranquility we needed. We were with two people, a dog and a 4x4 car and could fully enjoy ourselves here. It really felt like an adventurous way of camping, where we could fully enjoy nature.

And then that beautiful obstacle course! This one was really fantastic to do and certainly added an extra dimension to our stay. We have entertained ourselves here for hours and had not yet tried everything. It was really a great experience.

What also appealed to us enormously was the location of the camping pitch. It felt like a secret treasure on the outskirts of Breda. You hardly hear anything from the highway that is nearby. This really allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and fully focus on nature and our own experience.

The love of the hostess for all the beautiful nature that grows there was also a big plus. She told with passion and love about the different plants and trees in the area and this made our experience even more special.

In short, we really had a great time at this camping site on the Dongense Baan in Teteringen. It is definitely recommended for anyone looking for an adventurous way of camping with lots of space, tranquility and nature. Thank you for this fantastic experience!

Exactly as described and as I expected. Although you are a stone's throw from 'civilization', it still feels like you are really out of it. You can hear the mountain bikers, but they do not cause any nuisance and in the early and late hours you are not bothered by it at all. Gathering wood, sawing and making a campfire feels nice back to basics, nice that this is also allowed. The toilet is simple, but fine. You can get water a few hundred yards away - I didn't know this and didn't really have anything with me that I could carry a reasonable amount of water in, so it's helpful to keep that in mind. The fence around the site is of good quality, so the dog could run free all the time. Survival run course is fantastic! We would like to come back again.

My overnight there was amazing. It's a beautiful location in a small forest , very close to the sand dunes and just a 10 min walk from civilization but without all the noise. Many hiking options around the spot and also nice bike runs. Its one of the few campspace locations in NL that is fully forested, very highly recommended!
