About this campspace

Welcome to Lepelie, the rustic garden behind our farmhouse from the 17th century.
In this green oasis you will discover a variety of grasses, flowers, old fruit trees and the impressive 350 year old Ash that watches over the garden. With an unobstructed view of the hills, the enchanting garden looks bird-free.
Our love for tall grass, flowers and wild crops is reflected everywhere.

Enjoy the sounds of the farm landscape, the benches and secret niches. In the historic 10 meter high hay barn you can shelter in bad weather and still experience the outdoor feeling.
On request we serve a healthy vegetarian meal (in consultation)
We also have a small camping shop where we sell cold drinks, delicacies and organic basic products.
In the front garden we have converted the sheep stable into a shop with handicrafts, clothing, woodwork, interior, jewellery, brocante and decoration.
Our love for old stories, craftsmanship and natural materials can be found here.
There is a fire pit where you can stare into the fire undisturbed until deep into the night and philosophize about life.
Live and experience! Our small campsite is located on the edge of the charming village of Any. In the area you will find forests, hills and peaceful lakes. During the summer months you can visit the beloved flea markets every Sunday.

A bientot!

A beautiful place to be. Leonie and Pieter provide a perfect mix between cosiness and privacy. For example, if you want to eat with the daily meal, you can choose whether you want to eat in your own tent, one of the seats in the garden or with others in the hay barn. In all cases, the table is beautifully set by Leonie and Pieter cooks deliciously.

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely quiet campsite. You feel very at home because of the garden with nice areas that you can use. On a rainy day we were able to sit by the fireplace with a beer.

How was the contact with the host?
Leonie and Pieter are very hospitable. In addition to cooking a delicious evening for the guests (and us), they are also very accessible for questions and great tips. A very good balance between camping guest and owner!

The welcome was as warm as the bread at the bakery or the sunrise. Soon I had the idea that I was visiting friends. Behind the gate on the street there is suddenly a true paradise. Full of different trees and wonderful corners to nest or to make a fire with the rustling of birds and hedgehogs in the background. There is a lot of taste, love and attention in the finish.

How was the contact with the host?
The reception was with open arms and full of enthusiasm. They immediately make you feel like you are at home.

Tips for new guests?
Don't be confused by the street entrance. Behind it lies a spaciousness that you cannot imagine.

Very nice place to stay! A large, beautiful garden full of cozy seating areas, sufficient private camping pitches (limited number!), clean sanitary block and nice covered pitches with all necessary facilities, even drinks, ice cream and snacks if desired. We did not use this, but you can also order a vegetarian evening meal from Leonie and Pieter.

How was the contact with the host?
Leonie and Pieter are very nice people and are always ready to answer your questions or for a pleasant chat.

Take care of groceries. There is not much in the area and most of it is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Leonie and Pieter are the most fabulous hosts. We were greeted by Leonie who was there alone on our first night - sincerely one of the most kind hearted people I have met in a long time. They have created a fabulous place with anything a camper might need. Check out the gorgeous views, build a fire, admire the garden and the old beautiful houses. We stayed a second day because it is such a beautiful place to rest your head!

How was the contact with the host?
Great!

Tips for new guests?
Meditate on the notch in the tree over looking the hay field. There are lots of places for three course meals in and around the home. Don’t miss out on Leonie’s shop out front!

Wow what a hidden treasure... this beautiful garden radiates the vibe of Pieter and Leonie: lovely, welcoming, open, cozy, caring. You could sense how they created the place with love, humor and a bright imagination. I felt at home the moment i walked through the gate, warmly welcomed by butterflies and the smell of pears.

How was the contact with the host?
Easy, friendly, personal, quick responses

Tips for new guests?
Perfect spot for lonely wolves. The area is very quiet, do not expect lively bars, cafes, hip restaurants, swimming pools or any kind of luxury or entertainment around. The closest lake can be a little bit touristic, though. I recommend making long walks in the forest, go horse riding, wander through a market, be slow, unwind, make 'buying a croissant' your morning trip, simply spent your day in the beautiful garden listening to the birds, read that book, write, dance around a campfire...

Enjoyed the beautiful place and hospitality of Leonie and Pieter for a night! The camping site is green, quiet and finely laid out. Facilities are good and everything is there what you need. The shop with homemade products and tasty ice creams was great fun. We would love to come back for a longer stay!

How was the contact with the host?
Good contact with the couple. We were warmly welcomed and a nice juice was ready for us with freshly picked pears.

Tips for new guests?
There are a number of swimming lakes nearby, so bring your bathing suit.
