We, Fred and Alinda and our 4 children enjoy our place to live every day. We still have space left and want to make this available for campers with a tent.
Scout Luis Fernando About the scout program
My girlfriend and I stayed over at Alinda and Fred’s for one cold night. From the moment we arrived, our eyes drifted around the many cute animals around: rabbits, cats, Teun the dog, fluffy chickens and even the new-born horse from the neighbours. After setting up our tent next to the chicken coop, we talked to Alinda, and she seems like a very kind, very attentive person. They seem to really love their place and their human and animal family. The facilities are top notch, with a very clean and accessible toilet and shower. The town of Hoogeveen is really close and fun to visit even in coronatimes. The Spaarbankbos was quite nice for a morning walk as well. It’s a very lively place, with chickens talking all the time, perfect for animal lovers.
We really enjoyed camping at Alinda and Fred yard. They were caring and helpfull. The yard was lovely and neat. The chicken house was next to our tent which we liked. In the morning we were invited to take fresh eggs for breakfast. They had a nice sanitary wagon, clean and lovely. It had two toilets, shower and a tiny kitchen stand. Alinda also offered the use of a cooling box. During the day, we picked berries in the forest close by, had a nice walk and enjoyed strand Nijstad which is about 7 km away.
The cats and dog Teun were very enjoyable. The tent overlooked the neighbours farm with horses. We woke up to the view every day. What a lovely change.
Taking into account guests in our Keetje, sanitary facilities are used jointly.
