We camped overnight with Henk and Hillie, who welcomed us very friendly and hospitable. We were able to pitch our tent on the hiker's field, where there was an outdoor sink with running water and an outdoor toilet. In the evening we could make a fire. Nice place, felt like in the middle of nature!

It is a very nice place to stay. The owners, who are almost handing over the baton, have set up this place (with shop, land and a small campsite) with great passion. There is a very nice atmosphere and it is great fun to see how the company works. You can take a walk through the walnut trees, see how they plant the new lettuce and you can buy fresh products in the store.

How was the contact with the host?
Good. Quick response to our request, and during our stay we had regular contact with each other.

Already the 3rd time in a short time at the campsite with Henk and Giuseppe. A beautiful place, lots of peace and space. Possibility for cooking on a fire plus water nearby. In addition, the own products that are for sale are super tasty and you will never be short of anything. 5 stars for me and my buddies!

How was the contact with the host?
All the gardeners are very friendly, helpful and in touch. They like to think along with you.

We really had a wonderful weekend in this nice place. Beautiful nature, beautiful place, tranquility, beautiful forest nearby. Henk came by every day on his bike to have a chat. We enjoyed socializing around the campfire with other people. Compost toilet near the tent between the trees. Shower and normal toilet a little further. Nice shop of Henk and his wife. Very nice that there was a kitchenette where you could wash dishes and throw away waste. Electricity also available. A great weekend and we will definitely be back!

How was the contact with the host?
Entirely right.

Henk and hellie are lovely hosts. The farm shop, loos and extra sink next to the camping site more than meet the requirements of non-exprienced campers like ourselves. Though an active farm, the tractors didn't start too early so a lie in is definitely possible. Would visit again!

Tips for new guests?
Tasty food in Zwolle!

A very nice place in the middle of a biodynamic farm full of beautiful flowers, fruits and vegetables. We had a very nice welcome and felt right at home. The environment is green and quiet. There is the possibility for walking, cycling and canoeing. There is a fire pit and a shared covered outdoor kitchen on the camping field with cold water and electricity, very handy!

How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host was excellent! Henk and Hillie are very friendly, hospitable and open. We were well received and now and then someone came by for a nice chat or to give a nice tip at the tent. The volunteers and others who work on the land are also very friendly when you meet them.

Tips for new guests?
Ask Henk and Hillie about what grows there, pick a few currants for breakfast, take a walk through the Black Pines and buy something tasty in the farm shop (the supermarket is nearby for the other things).

I experienced my stay as very restless, many agricultural activities in and around the site such as tractors, harvesters and mowing machines were in full operation on Saturday morning, so that I fled the camping field. Even at night alone on the remote and earth-dark camping site I did not feel relaxed.
The shower and toilet are located at about 300-400 meters and can be reached via a muddy/irregular path. That was impossible at night!
The compost toilet is hidden in dark bushes, but going there at night is no fun for a woman alone.
The host is proud of his place and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable, but a lot of information was contradictory or incomplete. For example, I did not know about the electricity that would be present in the shelter and other things. Garbage and cleaning was also out of order when I came.
During the day it is a fine and atmospheric place as long as there is no activity.
I find the information on the site too scanty to paint a good picture in advance.

How was the contact with the host?
The host is willing to help you and is happy to assist you.

Tips for new guests?
Provide a good flashlight and possibly rubber clogs/boots for the damp grass/mud.

We are sorry, Annelies, that you had such an experience here. Adventurous camping and the accompanying ability to improvise are apparently not for you. So don't do it anymore.

In Punthorst there is a biologically dynamic Tuinderij of 5.5 hectares that Henk and Giuseppe run. Spread across the country you can see that they work with a lot of passion. Many vegetables are grown, there are several greenhouses and even a bee greenhouse. The pieces with different types of flowers make it a colorful whole. At the back of the site is a camping field where you can enjoy the evening sun during the evening. Delicious! The camping field has a roof where there is electricity and you can also use water. The toilet block is for the site, but for the urgent need it is nice that there is a compost toilet. There is also a small shop on site with a wide variety of organic fruit and vegetables. But also everything else you need to create a nice meal at the campsite. There is a beautiful walking route around the site through a piece of nature reserve! great place!
