About this campspace #s004461

Your host
JörgThe tranquil village of Harsleben is located between Quedlinburg and Halberstadt and very close to the Harz with the colorful city of Wernigerode. Right in the center is one of the oldest farms in town. The classic and listed three-sided courtyard offers the possibility of parking campers in the courtyard as well as camping in the garden.

As a traveler myself, I am always looking for contact with the local people. I mostly travel by motorcycle. I have already traveled to most of the European countries and can report a lot. But I have also been able to accommodate many travelers from all over the world.
In my area I like to ride my bike. Many say I am a walking tour guide.

We stood with our pickup incl. roof tent in the inner courtyard of the farm, which could even be locked. With a camper or van you are well protected from wind and weather on this pitch. There was a water and electricity connection in the barn. In the garden behind the courtyard there are also some seating and loungers and a fireplace to relax.
How was the contact with the host?
Jörg welcomed us very courteously and greeted us directly at the gate. He showed us the yard and garden and how to best use the outdoor shower. It's worth listening to his stories - a super friendly host!

I had a wonderful stay in Jörgs backyard! If you like to go back to basics, this is a great base to discover the beautiful surroundings of the Harz. The property contains everything you need: a compost toilet, an outdoor shower, electricity, a fireplace, a safe parking place for your car, a seeting area with table and some nice swings to ultimate relax after a long day of hiking.
How was the contact with the host?
Jörg is a very friendly and trustworthy man. Although we didn't see each other that much, he was always willing to help and responded quickly on my messages.

We had a beautiful place, a beautifully maintained garden to ourselves, where we could use the fire pit and BBQ, and our children could chill out in the porch swing. It was our first experience with campspace but immediately a very good one, and worth repeating.
How was the contact with the host?
Jörg received us very kindly and explained everything. You can tell he is a nature lover and takes good care of his garden. Jörg is accessible and happy to help you with questions or other matters.
Tips for new guests?
The site has a simple compost toilet and a garden shower with no hot water, something to be aware of.

Rules
Due to fire protection, smoking is only permitted in the designated areas.
Dear pets are welcome, but please keep the yard and garden clean.
Since we are in the middle of the village, the volume should be kept to a minimum after 10 p.m.
What I grow in the garden and yard is intended for my sustenance.
Wood for a campfire can be collected in the neighboring forest, but sometimes there is also some available.
