About this campspace

The Middengaarde is a naturally landscaped area 15 minutes from Utrecht. Very easily accessible by car, bicycle or public transport. At our activity park "De Middengaarde" you can combine relaxation and exercise. This summer we are organizing a pop-up campsite on our site during the summer months. We also offer outdoor (sports) activities all year round for individuals and (business) groups.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we offer an organized (outdoor) activity in the months July to September.

Provided it is not booked for an event or activity, the 200m2 hall offers space and campers can come together here. for fun.

There is a sanitary building and it is also a very green, varied area where you can enjoy yourself or completely relax.

Your host, Krijn en Iris

Hi! We are Krijn and Iris, together with Kees Pop-up we manage camping De Middengaarde near Utrecht.
We took over management of the site in 2015 and have done a lot to regenerate it since then. What was once a meadow is now a very biodiverse site with green areas, trees, a food forest and a number of picnic and grass areas.
We have set up facilities such as a sanitary building and a central building with a kitchen and toilets. The site is 4ha in size, so there is plenty of room for peace and nature. Because of our main activity, organizing company outings, we are used to facilitating groups. We are regularly camping with our family on the property and want to share this experience with others. An urban oasis where relaxation and adventure are central. For freebooters and outdoor enthusiasts.
