Heidi

Pack an extra sweater - because here you will stay up for a long time. Holmely is the dream of making a small oasis for nature and people. Nature and outdoor life must be at the center, and it must be easy and convenient for you and your family to stay in nature.

And that dream you can take part in. Here at Holmely you have the opportunity to spend the night in glamping tents, tipi with wood stove, treetop shelter or tree house.

Here is always built, renovated and expanded with nature and sustainability in mind. Holmely offers some extremely beautiful sunsets, which are enjoyed to the full by guests, owner and visitors.

And if you are a nature beginner, then this is the place for you: here you can borrow / rent all the equipment for food over a campfire, here is a freezer, refrigerator, etc. There is a toilet on the grounds. You can buy a full firewood for DKK 25 and a hot bath for DKK 25.

At the campfire site in the field there are small tables and stumps to sit on and branches that can be cut into puff pastry sticks. There are poles set up on which sun canopies can be set up that can take some time off from wind, sun and rain.

I hope you enjoy your stay here and show respect for other guests and the nature around you.

1) + 2) Glamping tents
The tents as shown in the pictures are 4 meters in diameter and 200 high in the middle. There are 2 mattresses, duvets, pillow. The beds are made on arrival and towels are provided for you. In the tent there are small tables and pillows to sit on.

Enjoy the long summer evenings and the fine view. From the tents you have a view of the area with fields and forests. In the field, small footpaths have been made to the house and to the large campfire site. The rest of the field has been allowed to stand with grass and wild plants, to the great benefit of insects, partridges, birds and mice. Here are often seen buzzards, vipers, sparrow hawks and a rare walk in between a osprey.

3) TIPI
The tipi is warm and cozy. The food is simmering on the stove while the darkness has subsided outside. Now is the time for stories and coziness.

Once fired up in the oven, you may well throw on your jacket and hat. The heat from the oven spreads quickly in the tipi, making it comfortable to be in, even in extremely bad weather. The small hatch at the end of the stove allows you to look into the flames, and the large combustion chamber allows you to fire up for most of the night.

In the tip you will find:
- Small pots and a kettle
- Small seat pads
- Lighting
- Firewood for the tipi MUST be bought on site.

BRING YOURSELF:
- Sleeping bag and sleeping pad
- Tableware (small bowls and cutlery)
- Mad

Although the small wood stove quickly heats up the tipi, you can easily get cold when you need to sleep as the cold from the ground cools your body.

4) THE WOODEN TOP SHELTER
The newly built treetop shelter is located on the edge of a small plantation with miles of views of fields and forests. You can lie in the shelter and enjoy the view or sit with your feet hanging over the edge of the small balcony.

The shelter is large and spacious with two folding mattresses, small tables and cozy lighting. Bring your own sheet, duvet and pillow

Bring your own:
- The sheet, duvet or sleeping bag
- Cutlery and plates
- Mad

5) Cabin
Cozy cottage located in the hill country that offers unique nature. Here are high to the sky, streams, creeks, lakes and hills.

In the cottage there is a bed of 140 × 200 cm, in addition 2 duvets / pillows + towels. Arranged on arrival.

Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle and 2 hotplates. There is free coffee and tea, and a small minibar where you pay with Mobilepay. Dining / workplace.

The cabin is heated with air to air pump, which provides a good and comfortable heat. Small shower with toilet and shower. Heated with electric radiator.

Terrace with seating and outdoor area. There is a campfire site in the square in front of the annex. Firewood can be purchased. Free parking right next to the cottage. Contact-free check-in. Cleaning is included in the price.

I have traveled as a backpacker in the US, Mexico, Canada, East and South Africa, and have lived a few years in South Africa. I enjoy meeting travelers and sharing experiences, but also have full respect for visitors who want peace and privacy.
I work as a freelancer from home, so I am always available.
My wish with Holmely is about creating a place where everyone can feel safe by going out and spending the night in the Danish nature. Where communities are created and where the smell of fire and soil is taken home in the backpack.
Do you have / have special needs during your stay with me here at Holmely, then finally write.
I look forward to welcoming you.

Really sweet host who welcomed us even though we had been delayed.
The place is nicely located and the facilities are really good. There is the most amazing nature around the tippi and it is easy to get the tippi well warm using the wood stove.

Can definitely recommend this treetop shelters. There was just a calm and a silence all evening, a beautiful red sunset.
So cozy to lie in his sleeping bag. Cozy with the bright lights that were up there and nice with mattresses.

Even before our visit, we had a good contact to the host, who was very helpful with our questions and wishes.
On arrival we were given a nice tour of the area and the things that were available. It was possible to buy various things at reasonable prices (shopping is 5 minutes away by car).
The campfire site was okay and there were the most necessary things. Maybe missed a slightly better grate.
The tent was really good, and even with room for a small cot. Bed and duvets were fine and we could easily keep warm.

Nice cottage, nicely decorated and easy check-in.
Good for a single night if you ex. comes cycling, but not obvious to stay several nights.
The view from the cottage's terrace is to the parking lot for the glamping guests and not quite the idyll I got the impression of in the photos when booking.

Super nice cottage, sweet host and nice area. Great opportunities to swim, stand on SUP boards and relax.

The reason we do not give 5 stars is that it says you can have a dog with you (which is super nice) but the host's dogs do of other dogs (or at least ours), which meant that we could not sit outside in front of the cabin, as the dogs otherwise would bark at each other and the host's dogs were always out.

When we left (three nights) it was hot, so it was a pity our dog could not run in and out.

Besides the dog issue we would definitely recommend the place.

Had two nights in the Tree Top Shelter. It was a couple of super days at Holmely.

It is easy to find and Heidi is super helpful and hospitable. She also had a lot of great ideas for experiences in the local area. My boyfriend and I would definitely like to come again, and already have plans for it.

What a lovely cottage. It exuded calm and relaxation as soon as we stepped in the door. And there was everything we needed, and not least a short distance to several different experiences over the weekend. It was two wonderful nights and I would definitely recommend it to those I know 🤩

Cozy glamping spot close to beautiful nature areas, the host Heidi was very helpful with information about nearby hiking routes. You can buy firewood on site and borrow pots and pans for the fire. All in all, a great experience 😊

Completely cozy and delicious tipi, which was easy to keep warm during an otherwise quite cold night. Super sweet host :-)
And really delicious nature around, which you can explore.

Cozy tipi, but the location of it is not optimal - it was primarily in a backyard in a small field. The field was completely open, so it resulted in the tipi's tent cloth fluttering all night in the wind.

Toilet facilities close to the tipi
Good wood stove, but in minus degrees necessary to light up a few times during the night
Views of the fields

We had a really nice trip. Upon arrival we went for a long nice beautiful walk in the area where we walked past several lakes and streams and through forest.

It was cozy in the tipi and we had no trouble keeping warm.

The toilet was relatively close to the tipi and easily accessible.

We had such a good time and would definitely recommend the experience to others!
