We have placed 3 beautiful safari tents at a considerable distance from each other.
We have completely furnished these tents. The 2-person tent has a lovely box-spring bed, a kitchen, dining area, beautiful lighting, a wooden floor, a veranda with lounge sofa and rocking chair. There is a 2-person hammock in front of the veranda, and in the garden next to the tent there is a bath house with a luxurious shower cabin, sink and toilet. Here you will also find a cozy 2-person hot tub.
The other 2 tents sleep 4 people, both have 2 bedrooms with lovely double beds, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom in the tent. The bathroom has a luxurious shower cabin, sink and toilet. These tents also have a wooden floor and a veranda with lounge sofa and rocking chair. You also have a 2-person hammock at your disposal with these tents.
On the wellness square you will find a large hot tub and a Kelo sauna, both wood-fired, a cold outdoor shower and a plunge barrel.
The wellness facilities can be booked at an additional cost.
Our savannah system is a very special form of Agro-Forestry, a forest-agriculture system with many nuts and fruit trees between and under which we grow purely natural vegetables with our De Woldtuin garden.
Here you will find fantastic skies, beautiful views, beautiful starry skies and tranquility. We are located in an old farmhouse from 1869 on a property whose history dates back to the 15th century. Surrounded by a moat. A special cultural-historical place with free-ranging chickens and free-living ducks.
Delicious organic breakfasts with products from our own farm and region are available and you can enjoy a sit-down dinner upon request.
It is very easy to cook yourself in the tents, the kitchens are very well equipped for this. You can also cook outside, at the fire pit. There you can cook to your heart's content above the campfire on a cast iron baking tray on legs or the tripod with a large grill grate on chains or a cast iron pan over an open fire.
If desired, you can take an extensive tour of the savannah or the farm.

All our toilets are compost toilets, so that all nutrients become food for soil life again through our composting system. This saves us 50% of the total drinking water consumption. The remaining 50% is added to the soil water precisely due to the lack of toilet water after biological treatment in a septic tank. We wet nature with it and no pump or mechanical energy is needed in the water treatment plants for our water.
We apply regenerative agriculture where all attention is on feeding the soil life.
We use a lot of second-hand stuff, everything that doesn't have to be made costs no energy and no raw materials.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
