Haldbjerg Naturcampus is a family-run business, owned by Tine and Tonny Pedersen with strong back-up and help from friends and immediate family.
"We" are ……Tine and Tonny Pedersen, and we are passionate about creating good experiences and learning in and with nature. We are both currently full-time employees alongside this project; Tonny in the IT industry and Tine as a freelance HR development consultant.

This place was amazing!! You can see all the effort they've put into the area and it looks stunning. I was completely alone because the beginning of the season, but I can imagine it would be really nice with more people and campfires as well. I took the fresh cold outside shower which I think was really nice. I could pitch my tent everywhere I wanted. Also, they sell really nice beers! Much recommended!

How was the contact with the host?
The daughter of Tine and Tonny explained everything to me with her very good English and even brought me some beers in a basket. We had a nice talk. Later I met Tine and she brought me some fresh eggs as well. Very friendly and hospitable people!

Super nice place. Booked Kløften, nicely privately located with own table / benches set, and fire pit. Firewood, toilet and water a little from there. Nice trails from Hillerød or Helsinge by bike. Birdlife on site. Definitely worth a visit.

Super cozy place, good facilities and opportunities for various experiences nearby. Sweet staff. We lived in the "gorge" which was a bit secluded, perfect for a small party. Can definitely be recommended :)

Rules

Booking and payment
Check-in from 12:00 and check-out no later than 11:00.
The price for the stay varies according to the shelter's size, location and how many of you there are. Search for your price in the booking system.
Meals and wilderness bathing must be booked and agreed no later than 1 week before arrival.
Firewood is not included in the price, but can be purchased when booking or during the stay.
For daytime events, a bonfire is booked in the booking system.
When you book a shelter pitch/tent pitch, you have it to yourself and you can use fire cabins if they are not occupied.
For groups of 10+ people, the campfire cabin must be booked for private use.
If you cancel your booking later than 1 week before arrival, the total amount of the booking will be charged.
Payment is first made on the spot via mobilepay, alternatively payment card, but you must provide payment card information to secure your booking.
Stay
Dogs are welcome at Haldbjerg, but they must be kept on a lead during the entire stay, and of course you clean up after them.
It is not permitted to stay on the roof of shelters, firehouses and service vans. Instead, you can climb the trees and swing on the swing at the climbing area.
Leave shelters and table-bench sets in the same condition as you receive them. Possibly. a repair/cleaning fee is charged for damage to buildings and fixtures.
Loud music and noise are not allowed at Haldbjerg.
We expect peace and quiet after 22.
Help take care of nature, do not touch the exposed cliff with cemented sand – it is a very rare sight in Denmark.
When you need to step off on behalf of nature, use our toilets.
The climbing area may only be used with a certified instructor - the swing is excluded.
Throw away waste in the provided waste bins. We will be happy if you sort, cf. signage on the bins.
Light a fire in your fire pit and follow our instructions in bad fire weather - in drought and special wind conditions.
The fire must not ooze - for the sake of our neighbors and yourselves.
Turn off the fire if you are not using it.
It is not permitted to bring your own firewood.
You can fish at the northern end of Solbjerg Engsø (approx. 800m), not anywhere else around Haldbjerg.
All stays in the area are at your own risk, however we have insurance in case of an accident.
Parking and access
Parking is available at Kagerupvej 21, 3200 Helsinge. Additional parking at the forest's parking at Tibberuphus, Kagerupvej 12, 3400 Hillerød.
Driving on Haldbjergvej and in the Haldbjerg area is not permitted.
Parking along Kagerupvej is not permitted.
MCs can book shelter "skränten", shelter "kloften", tent pitch "Dalen" or hammock pitch "Plateauet" - here the motorbike can be driven in.
Facilities
At each shelter, there is a table-bench set, fire tray and tripod with grate. Pots, pans, etc. you will find in material sheds on the square
Toilets are available in the service van and at the old summer house. Only throw toilet paper in the toilet.
There are dishwashing facilities in the service van.
There is a small fridge in the service van, please leave it as you receive it.
Shower bath "Det kolde gys" can be found at the old summer house and wilderness bath.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
