Hello! We are Rick and Annemieke and live in the Thiérache, a rural, non-touristy region in northern France. You can make beautiful walking, cycling and canoe trips here, visit the unique fortified churches and stroll on Sundays at the flea markets. For 12 years we have been sharing our large garden (3 hectares) with guests who are looking for peace, greenery, originality and a relaxed atmosphere. From April 20 to September 20, we rent out five camping pitches and five attractive and unique accommodations. Two of them are also suitable for a stay in autumn or winter. On the site you will find many intimate corners, but also all kinds of play options for young and old and a wood-fired sauna. In the summer we organize joint meals and a campfire once a week. Please note that your car is not allowed on the site. For folding trailers and caravans (up to 5m) we have a handy pull cart (but without a motor!) to get to the place. We have a separate spot for camping vans (up to 5m).

Hello! I am Annemieke and I have been living in France with my husband Rick and our two sons since 2005. After a few years we carefully started renting out 2 cottages and a few camping pitches. When that caught on, we gradually expanded it to what it is today. It won't get any bigger. We prefer garden to camping and prefer to receive guests rather than customers. Our children are (almost) out of the house now, but we will certainly continue to enjoy our site and the people who feel at home with us for a number of years to come.
No cars on site.
No catching frogs or other critters, just watching.
We expect it to be quiet after 10 pm.
Inviting people is only possible in consultation.
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
