Esther

Welcome! On offer: a large garden with fruit trees, greenhouses and a small grove, within walking distance of Lippelobos. Come camping in your own tent or camper or sleep well in the furnished glamping tent! Across the street there is a supermarket with bakery department (open on Sunday morning!) Sweet dog and cat included.
The area is also suitable for cycling trips, eg. along the center of Flanders, various castles or the breweries of Karmeliet, Malheur, Palm, Cornet and Duvel. I can also give you tips about nice coffee bars, where you can eat tasty ice cream or waffles or have fun on terraces. There are also 2 petting zoos (a few km's away).
...but the best thing is of course relaxing in the garden itself!

Very nice place, beautiful large garden with extensive facilities: warm outdoor shower, bathroom inside and living room if it is just a little too cold to sit outside. Supermarket right across the door, so perfect for quick shopping.

It was our first campspace experience and it immediately hit the mark. Esther has a beautiful garden and the house is unique, never seen anything like it. The first evening we played games with Esther and gave the dog Tito a lot of cuddles. We'll be back next year anyway

How was the contact with the host?
Very pleasant, clear description and super relaxed

Tips for new guests?
Just go, also now with autumnal weather picking mushrooms and collecting wild chestnuts

Super fun experience. Was the first time glamping for us and we were very warmly welcomed. Super breakfast, very extensive. Very nice garden with a lot of nice sitting areas. Definitely recommend!

How was the contact with the host?
Very good contact. Easy to get to and very sweet which made us feel comfortable.

Tips for new guests?
There can be quite a bit of grass sticking to your shoes, so don't bring too good shoes.

We had a very nice stay with Esther in the garden!
Esther informed us about an organized SUP afternoon nearby, which was the icing on the cake of the weekend for us! :)

A very nice camp space! Esther shares her (very spacious) garden with campers. There is enough space to have privacy in this beautiful garden. Esther's house is truly beautiful! There is also a very sweet dog, Tito, who sometimes comes to greet you at your camping spot. All in all, this was my favorite campspace of our trip and I'll hopefully be back!

How was the contact with the host?
Super: Esther responds quickly. Once you have arrived you will be given a guided tour. Esther also has information in the common room about nice places in the area; nice if you want to discover the area!

We stayed with our family and our dog in the tipi tent and loved it! Good beds, lovely garden, ... the camping hour and the outdoor shower were also tried and found to be super good! Esther lives in a fantastic old but charming house and you can also use the old living room, bathroom, toilet! Super handy in bad weather! Everything is available.

How was the contact with the host?
Esther is a sweet, funny hostess who welcomed us very warmly. Her dog Tito is also a treasure! Esther gives you great tips and addresses to do, to eat, ... we tried her breakfast for the guests: that is definitely recommended.

We had 3 very nice days at Esther's campsite. She really lives in a beautiful and special house and the garden is really great. Lots of space, a lovely campfire place and a very sweet dog. Opposite is a very extensive supermarket with a fresh bakery, ideal for a fresh breakfast. The only downside is that the house is right next to the municipal landfill and which is of course open in the morning on weekdays and produces some noise. You will certainly not be bothered by the weekend.

There are many beer breweries and many large cities in the area, so there is something for everyone. Definitely recommended to stay in the garden of Doktor Rombauts!

How was the contact with the host?
Esther was very relaxed, responded very quickly to messages and came to have a nice chat at the campfire in the evening. A luxury is also that there is a living room for guests, ideal for when the weather is bad.

Tips for new guests?
Highly recommended! Lots of space and personal atmosphere. Tips: get meat for the bbq at Magda's (the supermarket) and roast it at the campfire

We stayed with Esther for 3 nights with our camper and it was lovely! What a peace and space we experienced. And sat by the campfire for 1 evening with the fellow guests. Esther is a sweet and committed woman and wants the best for her guests. In addition to the very beautiful garden with spacious camping pitches, the warm outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise. We would love to come back!

How was the contact with the host?
Super!

Tips for new guests?
The Palm brewery in Steenhuffel is highly recommended! We had a lovely lunch there!

Behind a large fence there is a very large garden hidden. (And a beautiful house!) First we met Pixie, the house cat, who showed us where the toilet was. Our camper fitted perfectly in the driveway, but we were allowed to sleep in a tipy tent with Esther on the property! Actually, we first lingered in the common room for a while, because we were chatting with Esther about wonderful travels and well, life. You can grab a coffee and there is a fridge with all kinds of tasty drinks and beers of course. Everything has been thought of! You can even get a marshmallow package from Esther. I find that very thoughtful. We also saw that you can order breakfast from her!

In addition, there is also a very large collection with really the best games. It is nice to have this space at your disposal and it is nice to meet other guests here. Though that won't happen very often. Esther ensures that there are max. 2 groups. The toilet and shower are functional and, according to today's times, may be a bit "outdated". But we secretly fell in love with the pink bathroom and even took a bath.

Esther has a gigantic garden full of flowers, shrubs and plants. This really makes it a beautiful oasis! And in the middle of the oasis is the tipy tent. You have a lot of privacy and a beautiful view over the field. This makes you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The environment is also very beautiful. If you turn left into the street and continue you will come to a large forest where you can walk beautifully. For example on the path with decking. If you turn right you will enter the village. Be sure to ask Esther where it is best to eat or order food. Although she also made a list of all the nice places in the area. We would have loved to have had a coffee at Esther's favorite shop! For the next time!

In addition to the facilities, such as the communal area and the garden, there is even more. There is a beautiful fire place where you can roast those marshmallows and sit in front of a fire until late. You can also find wood and other supplies at Esther. Or take a look at the supermarket across the street. But there is also a swimming pool and a lovely outdoor bed where you can relax.

And then of course the tipy tent! We already said how beautiful you look, but the tent itself is also very beautiful. Esther has decorated it really great. Very atmospheric and romantic. Lights, lights everywhere! We're really crazy about that. But also a nice couch where you can sit and a lot of reading material, such as the Flow and a few funny books. There are towels and washcloths. And there is a clothes rack and closet area. Does it all fit in a tipy? Certainly! And you certainly don't feel like it's full. The many rugs that come with it also make it a lot of fun!

We may not have even mentioned the most important thing: Tito. The dark brown labrador who is quite inclusive. You will be welcomed immediately and who knows, maybe he will show you his favorite hug or ball. How wonderful to play with Tito on the large lawn! We absolutely enjoyed it.

Thank you Esther for the pleasant meeting and the wonderful overnight stay! We would be happy to visit you again.

Our first motorhome experience was an instant hit. Especially because the first place to stay with Esther in her beautiful garden was wonderful.
Not only was the camp site very beautiful, but Esther is also a wonderful hostess. A friendly young lady who does everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible.
Her sweet dog Tito finished it off completely ;-)

Furthermore, it is a great base for making beautiful bike rides and walks.
Highly recommended! We are fans and will definitely go back.
