The wine barrel is great fun and inspiring. The animals in the garden welcomed us, we picked tasty apples and pears. In bad weather, the barrel is rather small. From the barrel we had a wonderful view over the fields, just a shame about the garbage container in front of our view. Inside the barrel, the dust could be wiped off once.
We had a lovely time in the outdoor pool with nice warm water.
We think the rent is on the high side.

How was the contact with the host?
Jana is very friendly and available for questions, super! We were well received.

What a super nice place and what a cool gypsy wagon. Completely in the same atmosphere. We really enjoyed it and will probably come back again. We thought the donkey was fantastic! When you are having breakfast in the morning, he walks comfortably under your window. Really enjoy!

How was the contact with the host?
We had good contact with the host through the app.

Tips for new guests?
We had brought our own Nespresso coffee machine. But of course it also has something to make brewed coffee.

We had never experienced sleeping in a tipi before, nice! Enjoyed lounging in the hammock among the fruit trees and the animals. Tipi is tastefully decorated, nice bed and clean. On the other hand, I was not so happy with the sanitary facilities.
Everything you need is there. It's still camping, of course, so some creativity and flexibility are needed. Matches, a cheese slicer and a mirror can be supplemented as far as I'm concerned. Oh yes, and put a set of earplugs in your bag.

How was the contact with the host?
Excellent, easily accessible.

For 5 retired Marines/Commandos, this was heaven on earth. A very nice, intimate, small-scale, non-profit campsite, with just the right facilities available (a very clever GEISER so always hot water, a hot tube, even a bathtub and shower, 2 toilets, etc. everything was neatly clean on arrival. There is more than 220 Volt available .
Also nice, .... in the tipi tents we could preheat the mattresses, logs for the bbq and hottube and campfire were present, unfortunately we could (RIGHTLY)! don't use it because of the enormous long-term drought, luckily they also think carefully.
Very nice that the campfire was replaced by gas and lava rocks so that we could sit around the fire with the 5 of us and two other camp residents.
It gets EVEN MORE FUN! by a sweet stray donkey, some brown sheep, a couple of chickens and chicks, a cat and a nice playful dog that just roam free, there are already atmospheric lights on the trees, and everything has been thought of.
In short, highly recommended for people who like small scale, atmosphere, intimacy and tranquility. If you have sunk so far that you can only live with Chanell No5, a pedicure, and cucumber slices on your eyes, then you should NOT go there go!For everyone who has two feet on the world.........GO!

How was the contact with the host?
The host was an extremely friendly young lady who was concise and clear on the arrival of only 5 marines / commandos

Tips for new guests?
Usually we Dutch are real coffee lovers, there is a coffee perculator available, we eventually chose to make it a little easier to take a cup machine and a 220 V extension cord.

It was wonderfully quiet with the animals around us. The campfire inside and the hot tub were the icing on the cake.
The sanitary room was a little less and the smell in the tipi. But it certainly didn't stop us from having a good day.

How was the contact with the host?
Good.

Tips for new guests?
Take enough time for the hot tub.

We had a great time in the gypsy wagon. It is beautifully finished, with an eye for detail and nice matching furniture, and very spacious. There is also excellent heating for those who would consider going in winter. What would complete it for us: blackout curtains in the bedroom, and above all a mosquito net (or at least screens in the windows)! The mosquitoes and heat (because the windows had to stay closed) have cost us our night's sleep, which is a shame. The carpets on the ceiling and walls are also very nice, but because of their age they also smell, although I have a sensitive nose and that won't bother everyone. For the rest a lot of lovely animals: two geese that we called Peppi and Kokki, darlings of pot-bellied pigs, free-range chickens and an affectionate cat. The WiFi is fine. Jana is very accessible and flexible. Recommended!

Tips for new guests?
Bring mosquito repellent and an electronic swatter.

Lovely place. Quiet, rural and cozy. The animals roam around wonderfully. The chickens, rooster, sheep, pigs and cat give you a warm welcome. Sanitary in pipowagen is simple but attractive and clean. Small tip: somewhere outside a simple sink to wash dishes. Furthermore, an absolute must. We will definitely come back!

How was the contact with the host?
Alright. Little contact.

Enjoy!

We had a nice weekend in the pipowagen! The car is beautiful and also quite spacious. Bed is large (as big as the bedroom so you have to slide in there), bathroom is compact but great and the living room and kitchen are completely fine. The car is very complete: cutlery, pans, kettle, perculator, soap, crockery in different sizes, trash cans and tea towel, toilet rolls and 4 bath towels in the bathroom. Attention has been paid to the decoration and everything is very neat and clean. The place is very nice and small-scale, with many animals around you, really nice.

A few small points to make the experience all the way top:
- we did not see or speak to Jana at the reception, we knew this in advance and we received the route description and code of the car via whatsapp. However, we did not see anyone for the rest of our stay except for the fellow guests, and we therefore knew nothing about how the hot tub or fire pit works, where you can and may come to the field and what you can use, password for the wifi, checkout time etc. That would be easily solved with, for example, a short welcome note in the car, with the most important info
- the bathroom floor gets wet for a large part after you shower. A squeegee would be handy so you can dry the floor and you don't run the wet through the rest of the car
- back to nature means insects (flies and mosquitoes) and of course they also find it very cozy in the car. We couldn't sleep with open windows because of that and it gets very hot inside. Would be great if at least the bedroom windows had screens so you can keep them open at night and an electric fly swatter would be available

All in all, we had a wonderful weekend, feasting on the blackberries along the parking lot, cuddling with Koen the donkey and relaxing in the outdoor lounge. Thank you!

How was the contact with the host?
Fine in advance. Although some more information could have been given via Whatsapp or in the car about the spot, so that you can make optimal use of everything the mini-campsite has to offer

Tips for new guests?
Bring an electric fly swatter, pick blackberries for your yogurt and, above all, enjoy yourself!

Super cool camping spot. With chickens, goats, boars, geese and a donkey. Very attractively decorated. There are plum, apple and pear trees and near the parking lot you can pick plenty of blackberries. It is also possible to look into the chicken coop. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, but when the weather is nice, this is a fantastic place to spend the night. A big recommendation!

With the chickens on roost and being woken up by the crowing of a rooster; a gem in the Betuwe: Villa de Vagebond. I found the campsite by chance through Campspace. The last few days I had a wonderful time there with my youngest daughter. She loves animals very much and she could have fun with that! And I. Enjoy the peace, space, simplicity, chop your own wood, make a fire, roast marshmallows, watch the setting sun, read, play games and especially the animals. The atmosphere exudes authenticity (not a so-called hip concept) and you can feel that the mini-campsite has been created with heart and soul. Really recommended!

Fine.

Really great place that I immediately recommended to friends! There were four of us and my friend and I slept in the small tipi. The bed was very comfortable and the lights made it very romantic. Chickens and sheep roam around the grounds. At the long table you could enjoy delicious food and play games. Truly a place to relax and enjoy the Betuwe!

Fine!

Great place, a gem, a lot of work has been done here to create something beautiful.
Enjoyed a relaxing few days camping between the animals, enjoyed the swarm of swallows that were socializing every morning in the dead willow next to the campsite, last morning 4 storks land out of nowhere in the tree!
A few hundred meters from the beautiful floodplains of the Waal.
And don't forget the wonderful relax couch that is available for everyone's use.

How was the contact with the host?
Excellent, friendly welcome, clear explanation.

Tips for new guests?
I am used to back to basics, for me this was a luxurious place, electricity, water, toilet and shower 20 meters from the tent, but I can imagine that not everyone experiences it that way.

Tips for new guests?
If you sleep in the gypsy wagon with more than 2 people, do not expect a luxury mattress with regard to the 3rd and 4th sleeping place.

After a wonderful bike ride through the Land van Maas en Waal, I arrived at this Campspace. I got really excited when I saw the big tipi from my bike, and even more excited when I walked up the Campspace. What a great atmosphere the hospitable and sociable host Jana has created! Throughout the day there are animals walking around you, pigs, sheep, chickens, cats, really fun. At this Campspace you can choose to spend the night in the atmospheric tipi or in the stylish pipowagen. Soon the camping field and the sanitary building will be ready, and then you can also bring your own tent/caravan/camper.

For me sleeping in the tipi was a dream come true. The tipi is very spacious and the host Jana has really thought of everything: in addition to a large bed, there is also a fitted kitchen, refrigerator, electric heater and a lovely sofa. The wood is already ready to make a fire in the middle of the tipi. And the large white towels are already laid out on the bed. The massage shower and toilet are located in an old, refurbished carriage opposite the tipi. Such a luxury! In addition to the large tipi, there is also a small tipi with a double bed. The sofa in the large tipi can be converted into a single bed. So you can sleep here with five people.

The gypsy wagon next to the large tipi is the most stylish I've ever seen! Everything has been thought of in the pipowagen: a fully equipped kitchen, living room with wood stove, comfortable chairs and long table, luxurious bathroom with shower and toilet, and a bedroom with a large bed. The view from the gypsy wagon is beautiful, on one side you look at the atmospheric Campspace, on the other side you look at meadows. The two chairs in the living room can be converted into beds, so you can sleep with four people in this pipowagen.

On this Camspace you will also find a fire pit and enough wood, a bbq and my favorite: an incredibly long picnic table where you can dine for hours with the sun setting or have breakfast with a fresh egg from the chicken coop!

How nice to stay here for a few nights with your loved one, a group of friends or relatives? Pack your clothes and toiletry bag and go, because the host Jana has thought of everything else. I enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back to enjoy this special place and beautiful surroundings.
