The property is heavily wooded and primitive, uncleared land. There are no formal camping spots, you are good to choose anywhere on the property to camp. There is an old dirt road leading into the property and a good size clearing toward the center. This property has access to the main snowmobile trail as well.

There are several nearby farms with cleared land.Otsego County lies on the eastern end of the Central Appalachian ecozone which hosts a plethora of wildlife. In addition to the notable game species and furbearers, a variety of songbirds as well as birds of prey can be found near the property.

Nearby Hartwick State Forrest provides opportunities for fishing, hunting, trapping and snowmobiling.

Cooperstown is a short 12 minute drive. Cooperstown is a village in central New York State, at the southern tip of Otsego Lake. It’s known for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, with its interactive exhibits, artifacts and Plaque Gallery.

The Farmers’ Museum depicts 19th-century farm life, and includes craft demonstrations and a hand-carved carousel. The Fenimore Art Museum features American fine art and folk art, plus a garden with lake views.

You may cut felled trees or dead trees for firewood.
Any firewood harvested on the property must stay on the property.
If you harvest more firewood than you need, please leave it for the next guest.
Do not cut down any live trees.
