Meet Monique, your host
Unfortunately I did not see Monique during my visit due to private circumstances. We did have a nice contact via campspace messenger.
Nothing but praise about the camp site. What an enormously attractive place has been created there. Until the hiker's cabin and the wet room top. You know in advance that you don't have hot water, so you shouldn't complain about that. The location on the old orchard and nature reserve makes it complete. Recommended!

I spent a total of 3 nights at Sara's mini campsite. What a party! Beautiful, spacious place on the water, super hospitable host, nice to have a shower and toilet nearby and to share them with one other place. We could use a rowing boat with which we sailed to a windmill and DIY lock, the ultimate Dutch experience, super fun! There is also a fire place at the end of the site and we could read books, play games in the large greenhouse that is furnished as a living room; handy for when the weather is not so nice! I would recommend this campspace because it has everything you need and more.

Sara is a friendly host! Contact in advance went smoothly and she was immediately helpful. The Campspace itself is super! Good sanitary facilities, a nice hammock, beautiful surroundings. Nice that we could borrow a rowing boat and were able to use the barbecue twice. The greenhouse of the Campspace is nicely decorated as a living room. A nice place if the weather is not so good, luckily we had a lot of sun! Sara recommended the cheese farm Sol, tip for future guests, check Google for opening times. After our fantastic camping trip we were able to enjoy a nice piece of cheese afterwards. The second hand shop in the village is fun to visit
The reception was very warm, the owner Sara even went to the village nearby to get arm floats for our children. The environment is beautifully green and watery (fun for rowing!). Unique set-up of the campsite between the horticultural businesses and growers. Nice chill spot in the green house. Our children spent hours there with the board games. Definitely a place to come back to!
We have had a very nice stay at Monique. The title of her Campspace actually summarizes it very well: "Feel welcome to enjoy the basic camplife". We already felt very welcome. The landlady is a very friendly hostess who has created a very nice place to unwind. It is indeed a basic campsite with only a toilet, a socket, a sink, and a (cold) shower, but all very well maintained and indicated in the description. The assets of this campsite are the hospitality of the owner, the idyllic setting (small lake nearby, right next to a meadow with sheep) and the layout of the campsite (secluded, campfire, very well maintained, charming and authentic, ...). We would definitely recommend this place!
After a beautiful bike ride through unique paths and fruit trees, we arrived at this Campspace. The rest of our stay was even idyllic as the route getting there. After a garden tour by our lovely and welcoming host we picked a spot to set up our tent. We picked a spot in the back of the yard, because this would give us the farthest views. There is also a wooden hut where you can also sleep. Also a lovely place to sleep and wake up with a direct view on the huge fruit tree. The garden is right next to a grassland which you can reach through the wooden stairs. You can walk right between the sheep and their lambs. On the backside of the grassland you find an amazing walking route. Through quiet roads you can reach the little villages nearby. Here you also find supermarkets, restaurants and terraces. In the evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and of course a campfire. We really came to peace at this Campspace and will certainly visit again!
We are very satisfied with our stay at the Pimpernoot. A wonderfully quiet spot, with sheep in the background. We could use the fire pit, there was even wood ready for us. Also nice to use the shower bag, we hung it on the tree. Reception was warm, everything was well taken care of.
De Pimpernoot is a beautifully designed campsite in a quiet location with a shelter and campfire area. The basic sanitary is fine and very clean. Good starting point to discover the Zak van Zuid-Beveland by bike and on foot. Just lovely there!
Monique was extremely friendly and an amazing host - my wife and I (as well as our little dog) absolutely loved her camp! The basic facilities that are there are very well kept and one can immediately see that Monique is very passionate about her garden and the surrounding nature. We also really appreciated the fact that she kept the number of visitors low (we were the only ones in the camp) during these COVID-19 times. We will surely come back!
Wonderful location, where peace is of paramount importance. Simple but complete. We will definitely come back!
