About this campspace

We offer a 700 sq ft + Family Cottage with 4 twin beds, an open concept plan with a living room area (with sofa), dining table for 4, kitchen and bathroom with a shower. The cottage is set up like a little BnB but you cook - so stove/oven (no microwave), silverware/dishes, pots/pans, towels, bedding, etc. Roam the farm on your own, picnic, self tour aquaponics, see the animals (hogs, horses, dogs, cats, dairy cattle), hike, enjoy the Brazos River 5 miles away, shopping in Calvert or Cameron; Wild Animal Tour in Franklin; POW camp in Hearne, TX; Walker Honey/Wine/Mead in Rogers, TX and more. Schedule a private tour or consultation for Sustainable Farming or Aquaponics, Pastured Hogs, Grass Fed Beef/Dairy, Owning a Home Milk cow or whatever your needs - if we have the expertise, we will teach. Enjoy your stay on our beautiful farm! We also have 2 other smaller cottages that sleep 2 each and an RV hookup.

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

You can let us know your expected arrival time. Sign the liability waiver in your cottage. Open, close and latch all closed gates, leave open all open gates, don't feed the animals (unless it is scraps to the barn cat). No pets, no smoking and clean up all garbage you have outside of your cottage so that animals do not consume it. Watch your children, wild and domesticated animals can bite, paw and kick.
