The pitches are located in Eslohe-Landenbeck, a small village near the Hennesee in the Hochsauerland on a green well-kept meadow. You will always find your place clean. We had a wonderful holiday with Franz. Camped with our 3 children and the dog with the tent and it is highly recommended. There is plenty to do on the campsite (riding a pony, caring for animals, making a campfire...) and also in the surrounding area.
How was the contact with the host?
Very lovely people and you can feel they really like to make you feel comfortable. They think along and are happy to help if possible.
Tips for new guests?
Bring your walking shoes! A beautiful area for walking and full of good hiking trails with beautiful views

After I arrived on site at lunchtime, I was greeted very friendly by Marlies, the hostess. She explained all the important things to me and showed me around the farm. I was traveling with a motorbike and a tent. After I set up my camp, the beautiful area was explored. In the evening I was able to enjoy a cold beer by the campfire with Franz, the host, and chat a bit. It was a very successful day, in a beautiful place, with nice people.
How was the contact with the host?
You will be greeted warmly and friendly by the hosts Marlies and Franz. Everything is explained and shown to you. If you have any questions, you can always contact the hosts, who will be happy to help you.
Tips for new guests?
This campspace is really worth a trip. Very nicely situated in the middle of the Sauerland. Nothing but nature and tranquility around you. If you want to relax, this is the place for you. In the evening you can spend cozy hours around the campfire and explore the beautiful area during the day. There is a very clean, small but new sanitary facility on site. There are 4 ponies for children to ride. There are dogs, cats and a few rabbits in the yard. There is also a playground with a trampoline and a lounge on the premises. WLAN can also be used free of charge. This campspace is ideal for both families and single travelers.

It was a very nice stay at this campsite. Ideal for children: small, horses, rabbits, cows, playground with slide and trampoline, go-carts to ride. Our daughter was allowed to ride horses. Shops nearby, Hennesee a 10min drive for swimming.
How was the contact with the host?
Good. Very friendly, social man. Makes time for a chat with his guests.

The reception and hospitality of the farmer are excellent. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well maintained. When the campsite is full, the only sanitary facilities are often occupied and you have to wait to use it. (Shower and toilet are in 1 room).
Field is well maintained. Limited access by car in wet weather. The farmer's yard offers many opportunities to play and get to know the animals.
How was the contact with the host?
Fine. Speaks limited English.

Great quiet spot and kind host. -2 stars because of the huge party that was thrown, lots of noise until 5 in the morning. Franz warned us and offered us a quieter spot, but that would be very far from the facilities: practically the only thing we were in a Campingplatz for in the first place.
How was the contact with the host?
Good. Only speaks German.
Tips for new guests?
Ask Franz about any parties happening during the weekend in the barn... If there are any, book elsewhere.

The reality did not match our imagination at all.
- When making the reservation, there was no specific information about where exactly you can put a tent. We were only allowed to set up our tent in three places. Two pitches are right next to the farm, so it stank of manure and manure! It was awful. One place is against the wall of the yard, but right next to the provincial road without a fence. It looked very dangerous and it stank of dung and manure.
- Firewood for barbecuing was not offered, although this was stated in the text when making the reservation.
- The reception (mobile phone) is bad regardless of the provider.
How was the contact with the host?
Reception was very poor when we were there, so we had difficulty phoning the host. He wasn't there that day, so his mother showed us around.
Unfortunately we had to leave the place due to the smell and poor security. Before we left we wanted to call him to let him know, but he was unavailable and didn't call us back.
Tips for new guests?
Please don't go there if you want to suffer from dong stink and crap. Unfortunately, this is not a normal campsite.
