Our spacious campsites are set further back on the lodge property, under massive indigenous trees, offering an abundance of shade. Each campsite has on offer a barbeque/braai facility, a light and a power point. The whole campsite is fenced off for privacy.
The large ablutions, a ladies and gents, has toilets, hot showers and basins with mirrors. Outside sinks, under cover, that are attached to the back of the ablutions has a washing line for hanging up laundry.
On offer are a variety of water activities. Guests can row out on canoes to view crocodiles, hippos and the myriad of birds the lake has to offer. Boat outings can be arranged for fishing, sundowners and bird viewing. Fishing is done from either our boats on the lake, or organised for on the Zambezi River through other lodges. The arrays of fish that can be caught include tiger fish, barbel, pike, a variety of bream and other lesser-known species. Caprivi Mutoya supports catch and release.
For those only wanting to relax, nature watching can be done from the restaurant deck overlooking the water. Nature walks can also be taken around the lodge and within the surrounding forests. For a cultural experience, village wlaking tours can be arranged to a nearby African traditional village. Trips to view Southern Africas largest Carmine Bee Eaters colony can also be arranged.
Day tours can be organised to either Bwabwata National Park in Namibia, Chobe National Park in Botswana or Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
