Welcome to the mountains:

The former Bachmühle is located directly on the Goldsteig long-distance hiking trail (stage N22) at the edge of the forest. Our tent and camper place is equipped with fresh drinking water and (cold) shower. Electricity costs extra, but we are happy to provide you with a charcoal grill, seats and tables. Four-legged friends are also very welcome.

This is what you can experience with us:

The area is ideal for long hikes, walks and bike rides. The beautiful panoramic mountain Breitenberg is a long ridge in the Bavarian part of the Tannheim mountains. The Ostlerhütte is enthroned at the summit. In the neighborhood is a ski jump and a chapel. A small hike away is a bathing pond and the weaving museum. Pure idyll!

We are Achim & Helena. Both no longer young but young at heart. We try to live life as it comes and make the best of it. Our life is our hobby and it includes boats, music and an olive grove. We are working in regenerative energy and the health industries. We both speak English, German and Greek and understand some French & very little Italian.

Tell us about your experience
Helena and Achim are such wonderful hosts! They were so helpful and wonderful to talk to. We stayed here for 1 night in this little paradise. It was really beautiful among the trees, birds and next to the Godsteig hike. If you do that hike, I highly recommend this place.

We could go to the pub (they are their neighbors), but we preferred to stay cozy by the outside wood stove.

We also laughed a lot about their pigeons. These are not the smartest pigeons you will encounter: this resulted in some funny scenes

Thank you again Helena & Achim! We definitly come back when we are close by.

We live at the edge of the forest where animals and humans live close together. Please respect the environment, behave accordingly at the edge of the forest. No shouting, no drinking and be careful of smoking and open fires in the dry months.
So that we are not officially considered a campsite, we are only allowed to accommodate our acquaintances and friends for more than one night.
