We have a lovely house in Egebæk, south of Ribe. We have built a grill cabin with 2 shelters, toilet and shower. We want to rent out the 2 shelters when we don't have to use them ourselves. There is also room for two motorhomes or tents. We are a couple in our mid sixties. We can speak Danish, German and English.
Eat gourmet food at Vester Vedsted Winery. This is within walking distance of the square
There are good shopping opportunities in the local use

The campsite is very nice, there are only two spots under the big tree. Shower and toilet facilities are in good condition. The location is very quiet and you can walk to the local shop.

Great place to stay. We went to the vikingecenter by bike - it’s really close. In the afternoon we went on a seal safari with Benny, would absolutely recomment this!

Fantastic host, beautiful location. Lovely covered fire pit with all the essentials for cooking. Two shelters, where we slept on the last day to keep the tent dry.
We were partly under a tree and close to the (dead end) street, where mainly cyclists passed by who always greeted us kindly.
How was the contact with the host?
Very good. Benny is a good, pleasant host. Too bad we didn't have good shoes for mudflat walking because he wanted to take us from Mandø to see seals and the setting sun.
Tips for new guests?
In Ribe is the Viking Center. We were lucky that it was a busy week with many Vikings camping, displaying their wares and playing battles. But also without the 100 extra Vikings definitely worth it.

Very cool people! Give a lot of explanation about the history of the area. Give good tips where to go. We went to see seals under the guidance of the owner. They confide in you. Everything is there that should be there. Great experience!

Benny has a beautiful building where you can also barbeque or light a fire. Nice if you are with several people. Ribe is a very nice town where you can go by bike.

Benny welcomed us to the camp ground and showed us around.

The camp site has a slight slope. Normal ramps help to level the car.

Benny is a fantastic host! We saw the seals (thanks for the tour!) and the shelter is perfect, made with love. And we loved the garden to taste and discover ♥️
How was the contact with the host?
Quick response, perfect English and the best tour-guide!
Tips for new guests?
We put our tent up but the shelters looked very comfy as well!

Very nice place, especially the indoor part! Compared to other campspaces it was a pricey night, but an evening campfire out of the wind made up for that.
How was the contact with the host?
Fine, just stopped by to say hello. Everything else was clear!
Tips for new guests?
For the camper it is nice if you are the only one, then you can put the camper straight. If you have to put the camper in one place, it is very slanted.

Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for the great ideas.
I want the space to be made more straight so that it is easier to keep up with the car.
Thanks for your visit
We love great ideas from our guests.

Unfortunately I only spent one night here as I am passing through, but I have already decided to come back on my next vacation.
I slept in one of the shelters that are really spacious and where you stay warm despite autumn weather and rain.
The facility is really nicely done and the host is super nice.
He showed me everything and was there for any questions.
It is a really nice, quiet place to relax and unwind.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host was really easy and pleasant. He responds quickly to messages and is easy to reach over the phone.
Tips for new guests?
My only tip is to come here. ☺️ It is a wonderful place to stay.

Very nice mini campsite, because of the covered fire pit / seat also quick contact with other guests. The only point for improvement is perhaps the toilet / shower. This is very basic and because both are in one room, it is sometimes a bit inconvenient when someone is taking a shower and someone has to go to the toilet urgently.
How was the contact with the host?
Benny is very hospitable, also took us on a walk through the mudflats from Mando in search of crabs, shrimps and seals.
Tips for new guests?
Ideal base for Ribe, Mando or Romo. If I ever pass by again, I will definitely stop there.

We arrived by campervan. Very friendly host, great facilities (toilet, hot shower, water, fireplace in the shelter, etc.). However, the location of the parking space is right at the end of a (very quiet) residential street, so not really off the beaten track in nature.
How was the contact with the host?
We booked at very short notice (just a few hours before arrival) and the host got in touch right away. He was no longer there himself, but sent us all the important information directly by message. The very friendly host was there in person the next day!
Tips for new guests?
Driving the campervan onto the lawn. We mistakenly stood in the parking lot at the house overnight because we were unsure whether we could drive the car onto the lawn.

We had to get used to the camping site, but in the end we had a very nice holiday with Benny! The camping site is beautifully situated. The facilities were fine for us. The fire was a huge added value! Especially if you can sit around the fire with other guests. There is some motorized traffic passing by (sometimes late at night or early in the morning) so it is not always super quiet.
We ourselves felt that Benny allowed too many people in depending on whether there was room in the common room, although we did communicate this to him.
A must for us!
How was the contact with the host?
Warm contact! Unfortunately, Benny was not very present, so contact often went through the internet.
