About this campspace

Since 2018, we have been converting an existing poplar forest into a food forest. Tent pitches have been created in the forest and there is room for a few small campers at the edge of the forest. Your place is surrounded by fruit trees, berry bushes, herbs and wild grasses. There is no electricity and water at the pitches, but there is a central location. If you want to camp with us, it is a requirement that you respect nature and leave as little waste as possible (in the appropriate bins). We are happy to help you with that; we sell packaging-free products in our shop and vegetables, fruit and eggs straight from the garden. It is also possible to order bread and breakfast dishes. We are small-scale, with 20 pitches spread over 3 hectares, and our guests are seekers of peace. You will certainly find that peace here. After just one day, guests usually feel reborn and completely at ease. In the forest there is a communal fire place with a grill for grilling. Disposable BBQs and fires are not allowed near your tent. There is also a shared fridge and kettle that you can use. In the forest there is a sanitary building with two compost toilets and a hot and cold shower. Because there is no sewer, no soap / shampoo may be used and only (a small amount) of ecological detergent for washing up. A little further away there is more luxurious sanitary facilities with wonderful showers and flushing toilets, where ecological soap / shampoo may be used.
Our location is close to Middelburg and Vlissingen, 3 km from the Western Scheldt. You can also easily reach the North Sea beaches or the picturesque Veere or Veerse lake.

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

In a word: AMAZING! We were received super friendly by host Marieke. She told us about their place, how it came to be and how she and her family built it into a beautiful natural forest.
