My husband and I are in our sixties. We are driven, passionate and respectful people with a heart for nature. We bought the domain (in a dilapidated state) in 2002 and turned it into a gem. We do the maintenance ourselves with our Galloway cows who maintain the forests and our 2 ponies take care of the pastures. We have a clear vision on the environment and have had a Green Key Label for several years.
Water sports: Lac de L'eau D'heure; abbeys, breweries, castles.
Beautiful sunset on Golden Pond.
Namur is a beautiful historic town; nice shopping and dining.
At a 10' drive you have bistros, cafes, etc.

Pleasant people who also explain their way of life and how they have evolved into a large domain that they now open up to others.

Baking pizzas on the wood stove is a MUST!

The 'into the wild' section is a large, wild green where you can stay completely secluded. The terrain is cleverly and ecologically laid out and the hut is a good added value to your tent.
How was the contact with the host?
Ann is a very friendly, correct and committed hostess.
Tips for new guests?
If the nights are cold, bring a tent. If the nights are mild or warm, you can sleep in the open roof structure of the cabin (provided you bring 2 single air mattresses).

Fantastic place to stay.
Ann & her husband are the perfect hosts, discreetly present & always attentive.
The surroundings are simply spectacular & the ideal place to be completely alone! We will gladly come back here again. A real romping place for the little ones & ideal for the slightly older ones to experience real outdoor adventures.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Beautiful location where you have complete privacy and can do your own thing. Things such as wood for a campfire, waste separation and lighting etc. are available, if you do miss things, Ann is always ready to help.
How was the contact with the host?
Ann almost always responds immediately. Super nice!
Tips for new guests?
There is a nice log cabin with a picnic table and BBQ, but if rain / wind is expected, an extra windbreak is not a bad idea.

Very nice place, surrounded by nature, horses, cows,...
How was the contact with the host?
Good
Tips for new guests?
We reported to the host that mopeds near the site make a lot of noise. They are already aware of this problem.
You are expected to empty the eco-toilet yourself, clean up the ashes from the fire and possibly help to load the waste and water bottles back onto the trolley.
