'Le Peyret Bas' is the original name of our partly restored farmhouse and is hidden in the hills around Villefranche-du-Périgord ('Périgord Noir'). An ideal holiday spot for peace, sun, nature, clean air and good food. The 'Périgord Noir' is located in the southeast of the Dordogne on the border with the Lot and Lot et Garonne departments, making it a good base for cycling, walking, canoeing, horseback riding and visiting brocantes, castles, museums and medieval villages and towns. The grounds of 'Le Peyret Bas' are 5.5 hectares in size and consist of a meadow and a gently sloping forest with beech, oak and sweet chestnut trees and an old farm. The living area has been transformed into a beautiful holiday home for 4 to 5 people.
A stream meanders through the forest, fed by a source higher up. Spacious camping pitches have been created along the edge of the forest (partial shade), in the woods (shade) and on a field behind the house, so that you can enjoy an Eldorado of peace and space. The whole has a rustic character.
