About this campspace

A nice meadow behind the pottery and with a view of the fields to enjoy the rising sun and nature waking up from your tent. Life on the outside is great! Or peer under the cherry tree at the setting sun? Wonderful spectacle!
You choose your own spot - we allow ALL TENTS.
There are picnic benches, drinking water, 2 toilets and a shower with hot water. There is also a refrigerator, a microwave and some electrical outlets. And when the pottery is OPEN you can go there for a coffee, regional beer, drink, ice cream - the vending machines only work with cash. Or you can just sit and enjoy the music, have a chat with the potter, watch guests throw pots, or try to make one yourself (reservation is needed here, though!).
The village of Roesbrugge is located on the Yser. You can enjoy walking, there is a small Spar shop in the village and an authentic village cafe and we have 4 bicycles for rent.

Hi, my husband Stefan and I always wanted to live in the countryside. We are both engineers but decided a few years ago to change course and move to the countryside. We love the open view, the sounds of nature, the sunrises and the unmissable sunsets in the Yser plain. We welcome you to the meadow behind our pottery studio and are happy to give you all kinds of tips - ordinary and other ;) .

Tips

  • You can do a try-out on the potter's wheel with us - well worth it. Do book in advance.

  • Lovely walk and enjoy the sunset in the evening!

  • In the village there is a Spar shop where you can also get regional products.

  • Back in time in the Christen Volkshuis in Roesbrugge: an authentic cafe

  • At a few 100 m you will find the child-friendly restaurant Rust Roest.
