Camp in the surrounding beauty of wildflowers and magical black locust trees at our quiet, easy-going country farmhouse. Our little haven sits on a private dirt road in lush Washington County, part of upstate New York. The current neighbors include deer, red-tail hawks, and one wise, great horned owl. We'll have a 6-person tent ready, and waiting for you along with open access to the shower and toilet on the first floor of our farmhouse. We'll also provide toilet paper, towels, shampoo, and soap. If there is something else you need for bathroom amenities, simply ask us, we probably have it. Otherwise, all sleeping and camping gear is up to you to bring. At night, enjoy the use of the fire pit. The Battenkill River Valley is located in the southern part of Washington County and is an area rich with rolling hills, forests, brooks, creeks, and rivers. Additionally there's hiking, touring the back roads and bike trails, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, plus local shops & farmer's markets. Or you can bring a book to read in the shade, bask in the sun, sketch, or just get in some serious chill-time.
