THE CAMPING SITE: a quietly located domain at the end of a dead-end path in a quiet valley. The meadow where you camp is about 50 meters past the house (with beautiful garden) of the owners in a meadow with lots of privacy. You are in a sunny spot, but there are plenty of trees that can provide shade. There are a few cows (with their calf) on the meadow next to it and in the evening you often spot one or more deer. It is always very quiet and peaceful.
ACCOMMODATION: you can use the (private) sanitary facilities (toilet and shower, towels, toilet paper, ...) but there is also a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove and all imaginable kitchen utensils. There are also sun loungers, a parasol and levellers (to level the camper) available. There are sockets on the camping site (camping plug and CE plug) and on the terrace of the house you have WIFI.
EXTRAS: an extensive folder with hiking maps and information leaflets, the owners also give tips about markets and activities in the area. They have their own water source with drinkable (and very tasty) water. You can get fresh milk from the farmer nearby. In the village (6km) you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, ...
They have a big, sweet dog that comes every now and then to say hello.
How was the contact with the host?
Adrienne and Peter are sweet, caring and attentive owners, always ready with advice and assistance and the best care. They find the right balance between privacy and social contact.
