In the garden of our bed and breakfast "Le Relais des Fagnes" you can set up your tent with a view over the meadows or park your mobile home, car-roof tent combination or caravan under the trees. The domain of 5400 m2 is very easily accessible and yet is surrounded by nature. You have private sanitary facilities with toilet, sink and shower and electricity and wifi are also provided. If desired, we can even provide breakfast (€9 pp, to be ordered in advance). You don't have to leave the site for a round of kubb, ping-pong or badminton, but relaxing in the outdoor lounge is also an option! In the afternoon you leave for one of the dozens of walking and cycling tours in the beautiful nature of the high moors or the valley of the Hoëgne. Afterwards, if you wish, you can relax in our wellness area "Spa" (€25/2 hours). And after a tasty barbecue you end a relaxing day around a nostalgic campfire. This is how you create precious memories to cherish! Our camping spot is free when it fits within the planning of the b&b; ask us about availability!

Very nice place with all the trimmings. Nice garden. Because it was a bit colder and windy, we were allowed to have breakfast in the annex. Breakfast was very complete. The wellness was lovely and totally okay. The service of the minibar was a luxury but nice for when you come for 1 night. How not to carry everything yourself but grab a nice drink from there. In short, highly recommended stay. Only point we have is: it is close to the highway. You hear that at night. There happened to be a 24 hour race going on at the Spa circuit that day. And with the wind our way we were able to enjoy it

How was the contact with the host?
Good

Tips for new guests?
If you sleep in a tent, earplugs help against the perhaps annoying noise of the highway.

Thank you for your nice review and the nice rating, Ingrid. In particularly windy conditions, it is indeed possible that the noise of the races on the F1 circuit of Spa will blow up to us, but very rarely at night. (24 hour events are exceptional.) Depending on interest and age, some of our guests consider this an added attraction :-)

Very friendly welcome and quiet location. For those who like to eat something in the evening, it is best to bring a bicycle or by car.
Beautiful sanitary facility.

good for one night stay

How was the contact with the host?
fast and businesslike

Tips for new guests?
neatly landscaped garden and clean sanitary facilities, not really recommended to stay with a camper for more than one night, rather a parking space, not really a camping feeling

Dear Monique,
It is a pity that "a neatly landscaped garden", "clean sanitary facilities", a paved motorhome with electricity, wifi and water, personal welcome and breakfast in bed are not enough to give you that "camping feeling". Maybe you should have followed Tom's tip (see review below) and stayed more than one night. Then we would not have had such a "fast and businesslike" impression of your stay. We wish you a lot of camping feeling in the future!

The welcome was warm and friendly. The communication also went well. Easy site to find your way around. It was an overnight stay en route along the GR5. Located just outside Spa where the route passes, but very easily accessible by camper.

Request via Campspace, direct response from the host. Perfect reception and service. Beautiful motorhome pitch with private sanitary facilities and various facilities. Tip: Stay longer than 1 night 😁. Beautiful walk along the Bayehon waterfall departing in Longfaye.

The contact with the host was fine. She kindly answered the phone when we couldn’t find the house, showed us around her garden and bathroom and made sure we felt right at home. We really enjoyed the campfire that we could make on her property and she provided the wood etc. Luckily, it was very Corona friendly to stay at her place. The communication through text message (WhatsApp’s) could’ve be been better, but we rang the doorbell and then also worked perfectly fine. So, overal we were very satisfied with the stay and the host.
